The most amazing campsite I have ever been to

We stayed for two nights on this amazing campsite. The toilets and showers were spotless with enough toilet roll and soap. The upkeep of the site was exceptionally. Each pitch was huge with good space between other peoples tents. There is no phone signal so it was extremely relaxing. A campfire pit was on every plot which we enjoyed both days. Everyone was very respectful of noise and no noise after 9:30. There are chickens and goats on site which makes a nice addition. Jo was very welcoming and took her time to chat. It is now our favourite site.

Great campsite

A great campsite with great views, friendly owners and ideally situated to explore many interesting places. The only negatives were having a large group of teenagers opposite us doing their Duke of Edinburgh Award the second night. They were well behaved but woke up early as you would expect, around 6.30 ish to get ready for their adventure which woke us up. It also would have been great if the brilliant pizzas made at the campsite had been available for all guests on the second night not just for the above group of teenagers. If it hadn't been for these two things, I would have given the campsite 5 stars plus.

Carl Thankyou for your comments. I would like to comment on this - the students who we believe should have an opportunity to complete a DofE were immaculately behaved. ALL other guests mentioned how quiet they was. This group has been to us before and we welcome this back. We offer pizzas 1 night a week on an AD HOC basis - Pizzas are not listed as a feature we do. We offer these - and you was emailed and text before you arrived to have pizzas FRIDAY night. nearly all our guests had pizzas Friday night and was offered - We always think of our guests here and make sure they are our priority and its very unfair you have written this.

August weekend away - good spot!

We had a good stay in the campsite. The place was fully booked, but when we arrived it didn't feel busy. The owners run a small 'shop' you can buy a pizza (evening - set hours) - but you have to pre order, which we didn't know in the first place. In the morning you can buy a coffee/tea (set hours) and pre order croissants. It will be great if the shop could offer some savor snacks for evenings. The toilet facilities were clean and the owners clean them daily.

beautiful campsite in the heart of the Dales. stunning views, peaceful, lovely big pitches with a campfire. Jo was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and seemed genuinely interested in your plans. Small onsite shop, lovely clean toilet/shower block. 2 freezers onsite to use. We really enjoyed our stay

Stunning location, lovely people

Incredible, quiet location. 360 views of the dales, the owners are lovely and do everything they can to accommodate everyone. The facilities are lovely and clean, we ordered some of their homemade pizzas which were lovely, great local knowledge.

Long weekend

We stayed at Stablefell for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend it. We were well looked after and loved the firepits and pizzas!

Very satisfied

Campsite was absolutely brilliant. Jo was amazing, very friendly and very helpful. The showers and toilets where very clean. Would 💯 % recommend this campsite. Jo's pizzas was amazing.

Fantastic quiet campsite in stunning surroundings

This is the best campsite we have ever stayed at. Beautiful setting in the Yorkshire Dales. Great shower and toilet block. Quiet site with large pitches. Really helpful owners. Love the fact that it is quite remote but only 4 miles from Hawes if you need to pick anything up.

A lovely stay with friendly hosts

Jo and Marc were very lovely hosts. The bathroom and showers were very well maintained. They had all facilities that we needed. The little cafe/shop on site seemed very useful. Lovely walks just a stone throw away. Will certainly be returning!

Lovely little site

The campsite is in a really good location for walking, the facilities are kept clean and the owner was friendly and helpful. I also liked that there was a 'curfew' on being noisy, so an early night was possible - if wanted.

Farm from the madding crowd

This is a lovely little campsite in a beautiful location, with huge, level plots separated by 'hedges' of unmown grass. It's got excellent new washroom facilities and there are firepits for passing the starry evenings. There's not much shelter if a strong wind's blowing, and nowhere apart from the washrooms to escape the rain.

Bank Holiday stay

Facilities were very clean and lovely hot water. The site was really clean, very well maintained and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Jo opened a lovely on site shop offering coffee, pizza's to order, fire wood and other goodies :) We had a great time and will definitely be back !

Inspite of the heavy winds and rain we had a fabulous stay at this beautiful peaceful campsite

Jo and Marc are excellent hosts who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The site is in a beautiful remote location and is a peaceful place for a traditional camp. The toilets were lovely and clean and so were the showers. No light pollution so lovely dark skies with lots of stars to see. Campfires allowed in the provided fire pits, buy logs and kindling from Jo. Don’t miss out on the amazing homemade pizzas at the weekend they are gorgeous, so is the homemade Rocky Road! Highly recommend.

Lovely!

Great campsite nestled in the lovely dales, gorgeous views from your tent! Great facilities and kept clean and well stocked (showers could use some improvement, lots of water everywhere when others have used them, replacing curtains with screens would be great!).

Lovely site, perfect for us

Really enjoyed our stay at Stablefell. Out of the way and a really quiet area (which we like), but close enough to visit Richmond and Aysgarth falls, 20 minutes down the road by car. Lovely showers and toilets, very clean and the water was hot. The owners were friendly and make pizzas on a Saturday night, which were delicious. Overall, loved our stay and will be recommending to family.

Peaceful camping spot

A lovely quiet site close to lake Semerwater. Good sized pitch with a fire pit. Toilets and showers were very clean. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

Perfect Location

Perfect location, walks on your doorstep, campfires with wood to purchase. You can even buy pizza and coffee. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Great site for getting away from it all

Great site in a lovely location, close to lots that the Yorkshire dales has to offer. The site has a back to nature vibe e.g. no EHU, free roaming chickens and beautiful views. The owners are really friendly and helpful. would recommend and will return for another stay.

Fabulous site

Stunning setting, very peaceful and friendly hosts. Pizzas were delicious and plot size was very large, giving the kids plenty of room to play.
