The site is gorgeous with lots of campers using and enjoying the river to paddle board, walk by and play with their kids. The owners and managers were v friendly and helpful. Site is very clean and well organised and there's plenty of space around. The shop has all the bits and bobs campers could need. There are a couple of local pubs which should both be visited. Again these are welcoming with great food and beer. A lovely stay. Thank you.

We stayed here on our way back from completing the NC500 and were looking for somewhere tranquil and peaceful. \this really hit the spot, what a great site! A very quiet, lovely location with really nice people. We had a wonderful stay, albeit just for one night. We will be back, highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Sleningford, the site is beautiful and the facilities are really good. Very clean and a lovely hot shower. Vicky gave us a really warm welcome and recommended a great walk into Ripon. The local pubs in West Tanfield are a short walk off road and it was very easy to get to in our Motorhome. Our riverside pitch was just perfect. Definitely one to return to.

I visited SWM every year camping with my dad in the late 90's and this week, returned in a motorhome with my own young family! Great to be back! It hasn't changed much but it didn't need to! Got stuck in the wet grass but a tractor arrived promptly to tow us out!

A lovely spot on the banks of a river, lots of wildlife to enjoy and the site has a good length of river bank to enjoy. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for one night with VW camper and tent. Lovely location, stayed right next to the river which we could swim in. Plenty of space, so not cramped up with other campers. Toilet and shower facilities are all clean. Couldn't fault it, would stay again!

We had a great weekend here, we were on a non-electric pitch which was great as you could park wherever you wanted, any way round etc. The showers and toilets are good and cleaned at least 4 times a day. The site is lovely and quiet, you can swim, kayak, paddle board in the river.

What a gem this campsite is. By the River Ure there. There is wildlife, fishing and kayaking. The site is well managed, very clean and has a small shop on site.

I can't praise this site enough, it was incredible, the location was perfect, right on the river and a stone throw away from a little village where there are a couple of lovely pubs. The site has a well stocked shop, clean and well kept loos and showers, drinking water stations and a freezer for customer use. Check in was easy, the owners are absolutely lovely and we will most definitely be returning.

Great site and very pleasant and helpful staff. Well maintained with an excellent riverside pub a short walk away. Very clean facilities. Would benefit from an additional toilet block on the island.

We haven't been camping for over 30 years, and decided to try out the idea of a motorhome. After 2 weeks in Scotland, we decided not to rush home and break the journey here. We would have loved to stay longer, but had to return the motorhome to the hirer. We now have a caravan, didn't like the motorhome, and will definitely be back for a longer stay.

We stayed at Stenningford water park not knowing what to expect and it was brilliant, we were facing the river. If you haven't a mover, they did it for you and it was not too much trouble for them as they suggested it, they couldn't do enough for you making your stay really relaxing and nothing was too much trouble. Very polite and suggesting places to visit. #I can't speak highly enough of them and we will be back ๐๐๐๐๐๐

Beautiful setting for a campsite. A nice distance to walk into town, facilities were good with a little shop. We were in the hardstanding by the water side, which was excellentโฆwould use again.
