Dogs are allowed on the beach at Durdle Door and its surroundings all year round. Lots of dog friendly campsites are available locally throughout the season.

The Lulworth Estate operates a carpark at Durdle Door open all year round until either 9pm or dusk each day. A ticket purchased for the carpark here is also valid Newlands Meadow, Lulworth Cove and Lulworth Castle, handily. The route from the car park down to the attraction is fairly steep, including some well maintained wooden steps.

There are toilets provided for visitors in the carpark, but not on the beach. It's roughly a 30 minute uphill walk to reach these from the main beach.

There are a fair number of holiday parks in easy reach of Durdle Door, including several with great swimming pools. There's also a wide selection of caravan parks for anyone coming with a motorhome or touring caravan. Glamping is also available nearby in pods, safari tents, bell tents and more.

An iconic limestone arch off the Dorset Coast, Durdle Door is by the village of West Lulworth. It's set beside a sand and shingle beach.

Durdle Door is open all year round, with fewer crowds outside of peak summer and better weather expected between March and September. Many visitors enjoy taking photos of the sun setting through the arch.
