Great location

Quaint site and quiet stay. Walking distance to town. Great for touring the Cornish peninsula.

The warden was very welcoming, helpful & friendly. An enjoyable quiet stay and extended by a further night.

Lovely site

A lovely small site, very quiet and convenient for Penzance. Site manager was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Would use again.

Fantastic

Well, what can we say? Tony & Mel, fantastic people, nothing too much trouble at all, so friendly and helpful. Security on the site was great. Thank you guys.

Nice stay

Quiet clean picturesque, well kept campsite. Be prepared to pay for the shower (£1). It's quite tight if got large campervan for parking but we were in tent and there were campervans there. Only stayed one night as all we needed.

Lovely, quiet place

Very nice owner. Place is small and quiet. Initially booked just for one night but stayed two. Highly recommended! We will be back.

Well kept site

A lovely site, well maintained. Very quiet and relaxing. Penzance is around a 25 minute walk or jump on a bus en-route. We found it very relaxing as telephone signal (both EE & Vodafone) was terrible and we also couldn't get a signal for the tv in our motorhome! Had to fall back to the art of conversation 😂

Camping in Cornwall

Lovely campsite, very quiet and clean. Maybe could do with a bigger shower and more toilets.

Little gem, wonderful place!!

Absolutely fantastic!! Our pitch had hedge rows so it was lovely and private, site was peaceful, person that checked us in was so friendly and gave us some ideas on things to do in area. The ladies shower block was immaculate at all times and the washing up area was also kept clean. Myself and my wife also felt very welcome as a gay couple! We will 100% be coming back!

Nice campsite with very small pitches

The pitches are really small, if you travel with a big camper or a big tent, you'll stand shoulder on shoulder with your neighbours but the rest is really nice!

Clean and tidy site, good location

This site is small & well situated, good location & walking distance to Penzance, a bus stop, local shop, pub & fish & chip shop. The grounds are well maintained with good pitches. Facilities are clean and also well-maintained. Only 1 shower in men's and ladies, but as the site is small, it was always available when we wanted to use it. Friendly on-site manager, providing good local knowledge.

Small friendly site

Lovely, small site a couple of miles from Penzance. Very helpful owner who went above and beyond to help us when our motorhome wouldn't start. Facilities very clean. I would recommend this site.

Lovely site, great site managers

A lovely site, good location and great site managers. The only problem with this site are the toilet/shower facilities. There is only one toilet in the men's (which means a long wait in the morning), only one shower in the ladies', one shower in the men's and you have to pay £1 for a shower. If you don't have facilities in your van, it's not ideal. It would be a great site if it had better facilities.

Thanks for the review, we rarely have problems with people waiting. However, if they do, people generally chat and socialize a bit. We charge for showers as it helps to keep them at the high standard they are, plus it stops them from being played in by children and being abused. We also give free hair drying facilities, which this covers.

Great location

Ideal location, but despite charges for pets, there were no facilities for them and no safe area to exercise them off site. No TV signal and only 1 shower which was charged for.

Nice, small quiet paradise

Originally booked two nights, but stayed one more. I liked it very much. I look forward to being back.

Small but cute

It was small and nice. We enjoyed our stay. Though it was small and mostly targeted to Caravan but grass pitch was nice and comfortable too. Every pitch was electric and was supplied with drinking water pipe. Over all it was nice.

Lovely campsite and lovely wardens

We had a lovely 4 night stay at this beautiful and peaceful campsite. The wardens on site were so nice and helpful and were so accommodating. The toilet and shower block was clean. My only criticism (and it's not even really that) is that they were quite small and a little cramped. However, this did not detract at all from our enjoyment of the campsite. The chip shop and grocery shop near by were very handy as was the pub, but we only had one drink there. Thank you once again to the lovely wardens - I'm afraid I never got your names. I would definitely recommend the site to friends and family.

Lovely boutique site, very quiet in Feb/March. Very clean facilities and a great host - an excellent location for visiting Cornwall. All in all, we had a lovely time and we will definitely be back again.

Lovely campsite

We had a lovely peaceful stay with a lovely warm welcome. We realised on arriving we had left our electric hook up behind luckily the man who came and greeted us had one and saved us. The shower was lovely, facilities were clean and site was well maintained 😊 Thank you so much for having us, we would love to come back and stay.

Okay

Wi-Fi didn’t reach to our plot and had to pay for showers. Not bad for a quick stop.

Thank you for your review and comments. As we are in a valley, sometimes the Wifi can be a little intermittent. We have had it looked at several times but the location does not help. Many sites now charge for showers, especially with the current situation with utility bills. We also feel as it limits and stops overuse and abuse, which makes it fairer to all. We are also very proud of the standard of our facilities which is enabled by the small charge for a shower. We hope this explains the situation.

Very quiet and well maintained site

A lovely quiet and well maintained site. Nearby shop, chip shop and pub serving decent food. Very friendly and helpful site manager. Some spaces are a little tight for first time campervan/motorhome drivers if trying to avoid the grass. Occasional odour from sewage treatment plant if in the adjacent pitch.

Camping

Such a friendly site. Shower and toilets were very clean. Mel and Tony went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. If you're looking for a friendly campsite then this is perfect, we will definitely return to stay there again.

Recent stay

Couldn't fault the site really and made to feel very welcome. Site was nice to stay at and not to far from the town. The toilets were clean and showers were fine. Happy to pay £1 as they were always clean and never had an issue queuing or anything like that, but would rather it was in the rate then having to take a debit card to the shower each time. And that's the only thing I could fault if I had to find one. Would visit again though.

Thank you so much for the review. Your point on not queueing and being to the standard that they are is one of the reasons for charging. We find when people have to pay they are more respectful of it and it stops over misuse. The debit card is unfortunate but it's debatable some people prefer it as they don't have to keep thinking about change while the majority of people these days don't handle cash much. We are so glad you enjoyed your time though.
