We stayed here on 23rd April for 2 nights. It's a beautiful, well maintained site. We were tent camping and given a perfect spot adjacent to the play park, which was ideal as we could easily monitor our 3 children at the play park whilst setting up. The pitch was clean and spacious, toilets and showers were close, which was perfect, as were the water and the waste. We were welcomed at reception and shown our pitch on a map, with the male marking the route and facilities out on the map for us and a brief explanation of how to pitch, and a guidance sheet as well, which is good as I'm not great at taking in a lot of different bits of information at once! We were informed that we could come to the reception to book the swimming pool whenever we were ready, and told where it was. We booked the next morning and it was easily accommodated. The pool was nice and clean as were the changing areas. The shower is not very powerful but nice and warm. There were only a few others swimming for the hour we booked so plenty of space as we stayed in the shallow end with our children. It was a nice addition to have the pool and was a hit with our children too. We loved the peaceful and beautiful scenery and enjoyed exploring, we took the Tissington trail which was easily accessible form the park entrance and very picturesque, we took some amazing photographs. Will certainly come again.
