Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 We absolutely loved our stay at Meadowsweet. It's so close to all the best beaches but not rammed in like sardines, as you can be at the other busier sites!
The hot showers were an absolute treat! The light wasn't working but we just took our lantern in. The firepits were fun to spend the evening with.
Even with half the campsite full, we were able to use the showers and loos without any trouble. The family running the site were so lovely and friendly, thank you!
All you need
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2024 Has everything you need and is located brilliantly for those who like Saunton, Braunton and Croyde.
We were lucky enough to be there on our own and the facilities were bog standard but sufficient for an old school experience. I do wonder how the facilities may cope if it's busy.
Great camping site!
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2023 I stayed at Meadowsweet Farm for 3 nights with three other friends. Location was great with Croyde Bay and Saunton Sands just a short drive down the road, which are beautiful beaches.
There were also a number of pubs and shops down the road in Croyde and also Braunton. We had everything we needed in the local area. We had a very warm welcome from the family running the farm, they made sure we had everything we needed and were very helpful.
The site itself was great, the toilet and shower facilities did not disappoint, plenty of space to pitch up our tent and we were given the choice of where to pitch up. We made use of the logs that were sold on site to have a fire each evening.
Overall an excellent campsite with a great location and a friendly welcome if you are looking for a few days away camping. We'll be back for sure!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2023 Marco has a great place that is relaxed and quiet. He was a great host and was helpful with various questions.
The site is basic but lovely, an enclosed field and decent toilets/showers. A no car policy on the main camping area made it more relaxed for us.
If you want peace and quiet and a rural feel, this is perfect. It's 10 mins from the beach and the nearest town.
A night at Marco's
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches Aug 2022 We just wanted somewhere we could pitch up with our campervan and a pop up tent for the kids as we travelled down the coast. Nothing fancy, not expensive, but with access to toilets and showers. Marco's provided exactly that.
A friendly welcome on arrival, freedom to choose the location of our pitch in the field (within reason), and just a couple of minutes from the town so we could pop and get provisions.
Marco invited us to join him and his friends round the BBQ and we felt very welcome.
Be mindful that it is working farm, so you're in a field, and this is not a purpose built campsite. The loos are eco-loos and the showers are a couple of converted shepherd's huts. That said, my husband said they're the best campsite showers he's been in!
All in all it suited our requirements and was just the job!

Perfect spot
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2022 Looked high and low for somewhere like this - off grid, secluded, wild but with facilities - it's just perfect. The stars at night were also incredible. Hot showers, fresh water, fire pits, recycling, a lovely set up. Very close to Saunton Sands beach and shops.
Awesome campsite!

Best thing was the absolute legend of an owner, Marco, who went out of his way to make you feel welcome and was full of interesting stories and knowledge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
