What a lovely site. We liked it so much stayed an extra night. Great location. Excellent facilities. Really friendly welcoming family run. They keep it lovely here. Dog walking field is huge. Pitches are varied and all a really good size. The little bar & food truck is well priced, sociable and good food. Just a 5 min walk to a good pub too. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Good value for money. Great for families, couples and small groups.
Great stay despite the weather!

Good location and great facilities. The small bar and food truck on site was a nice bonus for us arriving late. Toilets and showers were plentiful and spotless. The site is in a lovely wooded area by the coast and we enjoyed the hilly walk to Ilfracombe.

A friendly welcome on arrival, a convenient water tap as you arrive to fill up at. Nice spacious pitches in very well kept grounds. Plenty of clean bathrooms to use. There's a bar and seating area that was popular and food is available some evenings. Sawmills pub is accessible from the campsite, which is a nice place to grab a drink and a meal. The bus stop is not far from the entrance, so all in all, all needs are catered for!

What an amazing site. Clean and tidy with loads to offer. From beautiful sea views, play ground and play room for children and a bar for adults. Every day a different food van. Quiet with no large groups, just lovely families. BBQ and bonfire possible. Shop on site had everything we needed. Very clean and well maintained toilets and showers. Simply perfect, we will be back. Great site with great facilities. Loads to do locally and the site is in a great location. Would recommend. Went with my daughter (9) and son (11). They made some good friends with other children and enjoyed playing at the campsite.

Absolutely loved this campsite! Superb, family run and a great vibe. Caters for everyone, from solo walkers in one person tent to full blown motorhome set ups, hard standing, grass pitches with electric to open fields, plenty of choice. The views are some of the best I've experienced from a campsite. Some of the pitches can be a little exposed but the views more than make up for it. There's food on-site, it's own little bar, games room and outdoor table tennis. There's a great pub at one end of the campsite and short walk to the harbour with an amazing cafe. It's right on the coastal path and only a short walk to Broadsands beach, which unfortunately wasn't accessible at the time of our stay due to a landslide, but this didn't dampen the experience. We've left wanting to go back, and will. There's not many places I'd say that about.

We had a lovely week here. Pitches were allocated and we were in the valley. The pitches are a decent size. The site was very busy, but there was a lovely atmosphere. It's a great place for young families with plenty to keep them occupied on site - big park, space for football, badminton, table tennis and a small hut with table football and small pool tables. There is a food hut on site that does a different cuisine each night and gorgeous home made cakes and cream tea from 3pm. There's also a little bar on site. Even though it was busy, it wasn't rowdy and was quiet after 10pm every night. Sadly, the access to the beach was closed due to a landslide, but the site is next to Watermouth harbour and a short drive / bus ride from Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. It's on the coastal path for those that like walking but be aware, it is very hilly! The staff at the site are very friendly and around most of the day should you have a problem. All in all, a great time away.
Great family run campsite!

We loved the site. We had a pitch in the valley which was sheltered and close to the facilities as requested. We had an issue with people using our pitch as a cut through to the bar behind us, so had a chat with the owners and they quickly attended to this for us which was appreciated. Our children loved playing on their bikes around the site and it felt very safe. Food from the food hut was delicious and we loved the community feel of the site. Toilet block was outstanding, with private rooms which were kept spotless, there is a more traditional block further up if you prefer those. They do get busy, so recommend going early if you can. Pitches are large but ours was slightly sloping so recommend levelling blocks - the site is in a valley as the name suggests, there's a short steep hill up to the viewpoint over the sea but it's worth it for the view! Access to the beach is currently closed due to a landslide on the steps, and is unlikely to be open for some time. Overall, we loved the site!

Everything about this place is perfect. A warm welcome and the attention to detail and cleanliness is first class. They manage the balance between providing great facilities but you still feel like you're in a very unspoilt location. We stayed in the Valley part and loved it - good access to the main facilities and less than a minute to the top of the campsite for the views. Loved the bar in a horsebox. Good bus service outside. Right on the coast path so perfect for walking.

Really nice campsite, lots of great facilities for people of all ages. Amazing location with a wonderful walk to Combe Martin. The campsite had a nice chilled vibe to it. Unfortunately Broadsands beach is closed until November 2025.

The site was ideally located as the South West Coastal Path runs around the border - meaning you are just a few minutes away from walking along the path. There is a lovely bar that has a decent selection of alcoholic / non-alcoholic drinks, at very reasonable prices. The on-site food offering changes daily, but would recommend a Sat night stay just to sample the pizzas - home-made, low prices and so enjoyable. There are two separate toilet / shower blocks, which is fine when the site is less than half-full.

Thank you for the kind words, does mean a lot to us as a family and we will pass on to Darren and Amanda who do the food for us. Next time visit the 3rd shower block to complete the set!
