A note from the site themselves...

Being a camper myself and solo travelling extensively all around the world, Barrow campsite is my way of giving back to this wonderful community. To connect to other campers, hear their stories and create a friendly, hospitable, intimate and tranquil haven for you to relax and shake off the hustle and bustle of modern life.

One of our proudest moments was qualifying for the Channel 4 show "Perfect Pitch". Up against some of the finest long established Scottish campsites, we went on to finish as finalists and miss the top spot by just one single point!

At Barrow campsite we value your opinions and take suggestions seriously, that is why season after season we listen and upgrade the site to make your stay that much more enjoyable and stress free.

Barrow campsite has a large number of returning campers which shows our hard work, personal touch and beautiful location ticks all the boxes.

Relaxation awaits! Happy camping!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesApr 2025

Arrived 30 mins after reception closed but a text to the number was no problem, gate code supplied and pitch number. Once in and set up we had dinner and went for a walk. Pitch was superb. Hardstanding with hook up, really nice size! Surrounding pond and field wall was lovely as the sun set, saw the resident highland cows and alpacas ๐Ÿฆ™ The warden walked round at sundown to check on things and we got chatting with him and his dog Misty. Bathrooms were really clean and new and spot on. My only feedback was having a shower in the morning I struggled to get dry and dressed after with the space. Washing up facilitoes spotless also. A great stopover with nice outlooks, modern camping and lovely warden ๐Ÿ‘
