Clear filters Lovely place to stay! Recommends site
Apr 2023 Myself and my partner came to stay here for a night in a glamping pod, the pod was clean, cosy, well stocked and comfortable. The facilities were all clean and cleaned daily and spotless throughout. They have a washing up facilities with extra bits like saucepans and stuff to use if you need them too! Plus lots of leaflets and information about the local area!
Whilst there, I unfortunately lost my engagement ring and Jane and her partner could not have been more helpful and understanding! They helped me look for nearly an hour, even getting out a metal detector twice for us and helping us search the cabin and grounds! After we had left, they put up a poster for us too!
I would recommend this site to anyone for how helpful and friendly they were! Also very understanding to a stressed lady frantically looking for a needle in a hay stack!
Lovely site to stay on and would definitely go back again!
Site's response
We are glad that you enjoyed your stay despite thinking you had lost your engagement ring - we are very glad that you found it when you returned home.
We try to make our guests stays as relaxing / comfortable as possible and try and anticipate some of the things that guests may have forgotten like tin or bottle openers and utensils - if it cannot be found above the washing up sinks please come and ask and we will try and help. If we can help we will.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 Great site for a relaxed weekend. Plenty of walks to do or visit Ludlow. Brian was really friendly and couldn't have been more helpful.
Site's response
We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
There are many walks that can be taken / linked into direct from the site and miles of walking in the beautiful Shropshire Hills including The Long Mynd, Carding Mill Valley, Wenlock Edge.
Ludlow a historic medieval market town with a castle, river, forest, market and independent shops and eateries is well worth a mooch round.
We have plenty of information on what is in the area so just ask.

We are a quiet and peaceful site (noise kept to a minimum after 11pm) set in the rolling Corvedale Hills and are surrounded by farmland. However we are only 1.8 miles from Craven Arms and it's supermarket, cafes, pub and take a ways and mid way (9 miles) between historic Ludlow and Church Stretton.
Thank you for your comments on our facilities and their cleanliness.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2022 I would thoroughly recommend this site. Nice and quiet, the facilities were spotless and the owners Jane and Brian were more than helpful. The selection of herbs to add to your cooking was a lovely touch.
Site's response
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hopefully sampled some of the herbs. We have parsley, lemon parsley, mint, spearmint, chives, rosemary and sage. The rosemary has been a big hit with people having a lamb BBQ.
We are a quiet and peaceful site - adults only - set in the rolling Corvedale Hills - surrounded by farm land but not too far from shops, eateries, amenities, attractions. We are an ideal base for exploring and discovering the beautiful Shropshire Hills and all they have to offer.
Thank you for your recommendation, it is much appreciated.
Excellent and friendly, very clean and peaceful! Recommends site
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Excellent. Very quiet, very clean and peaceful! Easy access, owners very pleasant and helpful.
Site's response
Thank you for leaving us a review it is much appreciated.
We have access directly off the B4368 Craven Arms to Bridgnorth Road (briefly on a shared drive which lorries use on a very regular basis). We are an adults only site so noise is kept to a minimum and guests can sit and chill and listen to the birdsong and chat to their partner, friend or family surrounded by the living landscape the rolling Corvedale Hills provide.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
Lovely campsite and owners Recommends site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating when my sister forgot her tent poles! They made us feel very welcome and the other campers were also very lovely. Would stay again.
Site's response
We are glad we could help you and that you enjoyed your stay.
If you ever forget anything it is always worth asking the owners if they have anything you can borrow - if they don't they should be able to advise you where you can get it.
(Your sister was not the first person to leave the right tent poles at home).
We look forward to seeing you again.
Thank you for leaving us a review.
So good we stayed an extra night! Recommends site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022 We were booked in for two nights camping but ended up extending it to 3 nights.
Beautiful campsite, slightly on a slope, but it didn't cause a problem. The site is lovely with lots of trees and greenery. There are lots of birds and we even saw a red kite a few times - beautiful. The hosts are all lovely and friendly and informative. The facilities could do with a bit of upgrading but everything was clean and worked well, so that was just my personal preference. Location wise the site is a few miles from a supermarket at Craven Arms.
Adult only and dog-friendly, perfect!
Site's response
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the trees and birds. Being an adults only site guests can sit and chill being serenaded by a variety of birds.
Red Kites and Buzzards are regularly seen flying over the site.
We are situated in the rolling Corvedale Hills midway between the historic market town of Ludlow with it's castle independent shops and eateries, river, market and Church Stretton right by Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd.
The generous pitches allow guests to pitch their unit to accommodate the slight slope and take advantage of the views.
Craven Arms has Tuffins a large independent supermarket, butchers, bakers, chemist, cafes, take a ways, couple of pubs, petrol station, mainline train station, Discovery Centre and Stokesay Castle to name a few.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
