There is also a dog bath, which guests can use for a small fee, and a dog exercise area.
For those daily essentials, the nearest shop is a Spar which is a five minute drive away, and for those fancying an evening tipple the nearest pub is the Tafarn Yr Iorwerth which is just a 20 minute walk away!
This is a beautiful location but the facilities leave a lot to be desired.
I've read other reviews and appreciate this is a fairly new set up but there aren't enough showers to accommodate the campers. The showers are not clean and it's pretty unusual to have to pay £1 to use a shower at a campsite.
It's wholly under facilitated basically and I'd not have opened until it had sufficient toilets, showers and washing up facilities for campers to use. My daughter has struggled to lock the toilet doors near the main kitchen area which is an added frustration. The Wi-Fi is a bonus and nice flat ground, so I wanted to make sure I recognise the positives as well. The owners are also communicative, which we appreciated.
Perhaps it'll improve over time but we shan't be staying here again sadly.
Site's response
I'm very sorry that you didn't enjoy your camping experience with us.
As it is our first year as a caravan site we tried to also include tent pitches as well over the bank holiday weekend. This has obviously not worked out as expected and the demand on our facilities was over stretched. We will take this as a lesson learned and we will probably not take any tent bookings in the future as the demand on the facilities for tents is much more than for caravans/motorhomes. All our caravan/motorhomes (and most of the tent pitches) were all very happy with our site.
We have taken your comments on board.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass and Gravel Touring PitchesMay 2025
Excellent location for quick access to everywhere on the island, with brilliant biking routes. Could only find 5 toilets on the site which meant often queueing. Think this was made worse by the fact that the showers were located in the toilet. The grass part of the pitch was a bit tight to put the awning up and it isn't big.
