Only criticism is that the size of the shower head is too small, resulting in the water battering your body.

Medium Tent - Medium Grass Level Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely secluded spot with amazing views. We camped with a 4 year old and a 5 year old.
There is no playground, however they were happy just pootling around and looking at the views and animals. The toilets, showers and washing up facilities are modern, clean and the best I have visited for some time.
We shall certainly be returning!

Medium Tent - Large Grass Level Tent Pitches Aug 2024 We loved our stay here and what a great place it is. The owners are very friendly, communication was fab and they have done a great job with pitch allocation.
Everything was clean and tidy but if we were to complain about anything, then it would just be the smell from the drains by the toilets, particularly in a morning. However, I know that this is something which probably can't be helped and it wouldn't stop us coming back again.
Loved it. Our little boy didn't want to leave 🥰 xx
Perfect campsite
Small Tent - Medium Grass Level Tent Pitches Aug 2024 A lovely location in the heart of the dales. Beautiful views and the campsite was perfect, you get your own spot, which was nice and flat.
We upgraded to a large tent, there was plenty of room for the tent and car. Plus, each pitch has an electric hook up if required. The showers are hot, clean and free. The washing up area was also spotless and very friendly.
We were given a lovely greeting by the owner, also there is a very nice pub with fabulous food and amazing staff. A great site and highly recommend

Small Tent - Small Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2024 Good pitch and great wash facilities. Washing up area with masses of very hot water - and fridge freezer was very useful.
My only drawback with this site is the noise from the road. Otherwise, it's great.

VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches (6m) Jul 2024 Lovely, quiet site. Facilities modern and clean. Pitches already marked out. Pub a short walk from site, but booking advisable as it was very busy Friday and Saturday nights. Nice circular walk from site through West Burton, lovely pub and stunning water falls onto Aysgarth Falls (back to site approx 9 miles). Would definitely use site again.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches (Max 7m, Without Awnings) Jul 2024 Great site in a stunning location. Toilet and shower block kept immaculate throughout our weekend stay. Great base to explore local area/attractions - too many to list!
Decent sized pitches and doesn't feel overcrowded with views all around. And best of all next door to a dog friendly pub where the food is exceptional and good selection of beverages. Couldn't fault our stay in any way not even positive criticism.
Will be returning on many more occasions with family and friends on future visits to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful location, peaceful environment and a pub right next door! Weather wasn't on our side unfortunately, but we will be returning soon in the future, so hopefully we bring the better weather with us!
Perfect, quiet site
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches (7.5m) Jun 2024 We loved our stay here. We're new to camping and this site has everything. Perfect pitch with nice views, spotless toilets and showers, which are all new, and a pub close by.
Mel was lovely and welcoming and asked us if there was anything we needed just to ask.
We walked to West Burton, a little village close by, which was very picturesque with plenty of fells and a beautiful waterfall. I'd have taken a dip but it was very busy that day as the sun was out.
All in all, a perfect weekend. We'll definitely be back.
Superb facilities, warm welcome
Medium Tent - Large Grass Level Tent Pitches Jun 2024 Lovely flat camping pitches, all with electric. New shower block with washing facilities, fridge/freezer and tourist info.
Very warm welcome from owners who gave some great ideas on where to visit. Only slight drawback was the only place to walk dog was along the main road (which was quiet).
Highly recommend and will be back.
Lovely site
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches (6m) Oct 2023 This site was in a great location and driving to and from was lovely and scenic. The hardstanding pitch was great with plenty of room and easy hook up. The toilet/shower facilities were really clean and well looked after.
The site itself was also really well maintained, clean and was well laid out. We had a lovely, peaceful stay xx

Lovely gem of a campsite

Spotless, shower block/toilets, lovely views of the Dales. Nice little pub 5 minutes walk through the campsite, lovely reasonably priced food with very large portions for sure.
Would highly recommend for a couple of nights, thanks.

Great campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches (6m) Sep 2023 This park is in a beautiful area, ideal for touring this part of Yorkshire. The campsite and facilities are immaculate. In fact, they look brand new.
Another huge plus point is the Street Head Inn at the entrance to the campsite. We tried the Haddock and chips and Steak, ale and mushroom pie, which were both delicious with huge portions. Only down side is we were so full we couldn't sample the desserts. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. One lady even boxed up my fish leftovers for our cats.
Will definitely stay here again. Thank you.
