Very happy with Freshwater, everything was perfect. Hard to get a slot for pool and bowling though.

Absolutely fantastic site. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. The best Spar shop we have ever seen, it has absolutely everything. Nice bar and entertainment every night with different visiting food caravans. Couldn't fault anything and will return.

Wi-Fi very poor for the amount of money you pay, would have thought better Wi-Fi. Food not good, very greasy. The staff were really lovely onsite.

Lovely site, big pitches, could see the sea from our pitch. Great indoor and outdoor pool, have to book the pool at the weekends as its open to the public. Toilets near reception were lovely and great if you had kids as some cubicles had two toilets in. The toilets at the far end of the park needed upgrading, the floor behind the toilets were not clean, and the shower walls were stained and they never got cleaned on Sunday. Staff were helpful, and the bar was good. Spar shop was well stocked. Overall a lovely place, very well kept, and a great location.

Such a lovely place. Cleanliness was absolutely amazing, location is beautiful and nice cider on tap too. Had one incident were 2 bar staff ignored us waiting to order a pizza, talking between themselves. Twice they walked past us so we left. Apart from that, it was a beautiful place and will be returning next year.
Don’t take my word for it!

Toilets and showers need attention, too much mould and never saw anyone cleaning them. Good for children as plenty of room to play and it's own beach, although not good for sandcastles as it's shingles and they get in your shoes. Still nice to have its own beach though, and dog friendly too. Bus stop right outside.

What a lovely site for a family holiday. So much for children to do! The reception staff were lovely and informative. There was a shop on site and all the amenities you would want if you had young children. There was a small coastal walk to the left of the site, just past a dog walking area. The shower blocks had private cubicles with a toilet basin and shower. The shower was a stay on one where other sites don't always have that. Only dislike (personal preference) was a security presence, which is a shame but understandable.
We enjoyed our stay

Close to beach, nice and clean, friendly staff, a big Spar for all essential. A bit windy as it's close to the beach, could be better if have some clubs or activities for children as it was summer holidays during our stay. I would recommend it anyway.
Very good

Park is a nice size, not too big or noisy, lots of activities. Food was nice. Very child friendly. The majority of staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely area for dog walking. Beach isn't sandy at all, so need to go elsewhere for that. There are 4 disabled parking bays which is pointless sadly, as everyone uses them, including staff. Security aren't concerned by this. We had the misfortune to need to contact security due to a disturbance from a neighbour. Security arrived and made a point of telling everyone our pitch number, so if you need to contact them, do so carefully.
The stay was great, the weather not so great lol

Everything was great. My only gripe was the cleanliness of the showers. They could have been cleaned a bit.
We had a great stay and will be booking to go back

We thought the location was superb, great access to the private beach and the stream that run into the beach was a great area for young kids to paddle. Next year, I will take my paddle board to meander along the river and I will take beach shoes as the stones were a little harsh. We spent many hours flying a kite on the field leading to the beach and the walk up the hills to catch the sunset was beautiful. We caught the bus outside the campsite to visit other villages which was a great service. Unusually for us, we did not use the facilities (pool, bowling, entertainment) as we were just happy to enjoy the environment and location.

Location was exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to the private beach was perfect especially for 2yo and 6yo. No big expeditions needed and everyone really enjoyed the swimming on site. First camp on a site like this that had more facilities and honestly it was just too busy for us. The amount of people and specifically the language and inconsiderate behaviour of some guests bought it down. The park itself was fabulous, we just found this wasn't what we wanted from our camping experience
Friendly staff, great location and facilities.

Great facilities and friendly staff. Security staff were really good and even checked on everyone when it was so windy, which was lovely. Only downside is as a family that don't have a dog, dogs were everywhere in the pool area, even though there was a designated area for them. People ignored that and they were still around the pool, in the entertainment area where people were eating and it was very busy. Dogs were all over the floor as people were stepping over them. As a family with a small child, it's worrying letting them play when there were so many dogs and some off leads. Can there not be a designated area for tents/caravans with dogs so children can play if they choose to not be around dogs?
Really enjoyed my stay

Really enjoyed my stay here. Facilities were great and near the private beach. Also had own pools. Shop onsite and bar that was not too expensive. Would definitely stay again.
