Camping treasure with fantastic views

It's somewhere that you can take a break from it all, without denting your coffers, beautiful location, plenty of choice from the bar and the kitchen, showers, toilets, and great (brilliant) entertainment.
Our first choice from now on.
Beautiful campsite, but a few additions would make it better
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The location was fabulous. The loos, showers and washing up facilities were great. But a small 'common room' with a fridge, freezer and charging point would encourage us to stay for more than one night.
Lovely little find - live music is a great addition
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Really happy with it all. Absolutely would and will come back. The only mildly critical comment is the on site food prices are a little expensive - but of course, it's absolutely optional if you buy it, and many people did.
Great camping experience
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 We visited with our friends and had a fabulous time.
The site is really beautiful, especially the wildflowers as you drive up to it, with great views over Weymouth and the sea. There were great options for where to camp - and due to the slightly blustery weather we camped on the field with protection from the tree line while still being very beautiful. We were especially impressed by the toilet facilities and coffee/food available on site.
The music and food trucks were a great addition and added to the glastonbury-esque vibe all at a very affordable price.
Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and helpful - we'd recommend this to anyone and will be coming back soon.
Breath-taking views, good vibes and good facilities

As a group of novice campers hoping to enjoy the English summer and we were not disappointed with Bincombe. Perching over Weymouth and Portland (about 10-15min away), the location is easily accessible. The bathrooms and showers are clean (the hot water was decent strong!), and other facilities (e.g. washup areas) are great.
The vibe was also awesome and relaxed - with performances in the evenings, food truck service (e.g. pizza), well-stocked bar, and helpful staff.
Highly recommend for anyone considering a camping trip in the Dorset area!

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were good.
Added bonus of live music and reasonably priced drinks at the bar.
