excellent weekend,site lovely ,pup and ice cream were good. site clean and friendly. . Will be going back.

Great site, food and ice cream

Great site, only 30 mins from the Euro Tunnel. BBQ at the side of the pub served delicious burgers and sausage, very professional set up where the staff actually care about your stay. The showers and toilets could do with a revamp but they were clean. Finally, the ice creams were great, with generous portions too. We'll be back.

Brilliant family campsite

We loved our stay, will definitely be back. Live music at the onsite pub was great, ice cream parlour went down very well with the kids. Great campsite.

Brilliant site

Great little site with inspired ice-cream parlour and pub. Nice walks. Beautiful area and very respectful campers. Extremely quiet from 10pm. Will definitely be back :)

Excellent

Staff were very friendly and Steven, the owner, was fantastic as we had a few issues with setting up as was first time in motorhome. Ice cream is amazing, café at ice cream parlour is great.

A lovely stay

We really enjoyed our break at Solley's. The only negative was toilet (not shower cubical toilets) could do with being decorated and made a bit cleaner.

Very good campsite

A very nice and helpful owner of the camping helped us with our place at the camping. We had a very good and pleasant stay here. A real recommendation!

Good but on view

Good, but planted hedge between the pub and campsite will tale too long to grow. Suggest bare root stock of native hedgerow plants of hawthorn etc. Will be 6ft in a few years. No good on Saturday evening though, had to order takeaway.

Fantastic weekend

Had a fabulous time at this site, hosts were very welcoming, great clean facilities, visited the onsite pub that had live music playing. There were tractor rides and the ice cream parlour was lovely too. A great site for all. We will be back again. Thank you.

Perfect paddock stay

We treated ourselves to a little stay in the paddock to end our first motorhome trip away. We chose it because it offered a space for one of our dogs who is reactive and it was perfect. We received a lovely welcome and were shown to our pitch. The site is lovely and intimate and clean. The paddock is the size of 3 pitches and we were able to close the gate for extra security for the dogs. We were sheltered from the wind as there are trees all around. We had a quick drink in the bar which is dog friendly and even had a fish and chip takeaway delivered to site from the Happy Fryer ☺️ We had electric hook up and fresh water and such a peaceful stay; we didn’t want to leave. We live locally, so we will definitely return. This would be a perfect little spot for a group of friends or family to spend time together. Thank you for providing such a lovely space.

Great stay, will definitely visit again

Lovely site to stay on. Great location if staying multiple nights as lots to do nearby. Campsite has lovely facilities which were kept clean and large shower/toilets facilities great to accommodate families. Pub and ice cream parlour on site a great benefit and all staff very friendly.

Lovely place, quiet, plenty of walks

Will definitely go there again! Shower block was clean and modern looking. Walks and scenic views.

Lovely & comfortable

Brilliant stopover for our journey onto Calais. Weather was great & the pub on site was an added bonus. Only downside was the tight narrow lanes leading to the sight as some home owners hadn't trimmed their hedges, but this wouldn't put me off staying again.

Friendly team, great location

The team at Solley's campsite were very friendly and helpful. Facilities are great with an onsite pub and ice cream parlour. The location is ideal for the coastal walk as the train station at Walmley, a 25 minute walk away across glorious countryside, connects Folkestone to Margate. I will certainly be back.

Great camping site

Lovely little site. Ice cream parlour was very nice, ice cream was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic campsite

Fantastic campsite with great facilities, including a pub and ice cream parlour. It was the perfect location for us as a family of four with young kids and a dog. Will definitely come back.

Lovely campsite

Absolutely love Solley's. Great walks for humans and dogs. Really friendly and helpful staff, especially Rob the groundsman, nothing is to much trouble. Solley's always has something going on, like tractor rides and things for kids. He has his own little planes that take to the air on a good weekend. There is a bar open on weekends. All this and an ice cream parlour - what's not to love. The ice cream parlour also does food.

Recommend!

We had wonderful time in the beautiful camper side. The owner is so, so polite and helpful and makes you feel like at home ;-) Super kind! Very peaceful and relaxing place. The facilities were very clean too. Great location, nice pub, delicious ice cream! We will definitely be back there! Thank you so much!

A perfect first camping adventure

A beautiful place to camp. Really friendly hosts, super clean flat field and decent sized plots. The ice-cream was yummy and there were lots of flavours to choose from. Really accessible to local towns. All in all, a great place to camp and we'll be back.

Peaceful site great location

Beautiful views, on a slope, great that there is ice cream parlour and pub. New shower block. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely going back.

Very nice stay

We only stayed here for one night, it was very cold and windy that day, unfortunately. The location is great for the east coast, close to Deal, Dover, Sandwich etc. Site was very quiet with only a few pitches in use, so can't comment how it would be in peak season. Our pitch was perfect for our use. Facilities were very clean, although only 2 were in use, due to the low number of pitches in use, so to be expected. No issues at all. On site pub was lovely and friendly staff, both there and in the ice cream parlour. Very nice ice creams!
