Great weekend

We had an excellent stay, the campsite is extremely well run and established. Plenty of space, great facilities, good fresh pastries in the morning. I’d highly recommend this site, great for adults or families. Thanks very much.

Little to fault with it

the site is reached by a single track farm road with a rough surface. There's passing places for caravans going in opposite directions and they're sufficiently frequent to prevent problems arising. The pitches are flat with a very slight slope. There's a small shop in reception selling milk and BBQ meat, sweets and a few basic camping equipment essentials. The site is well signposted. There's not much shade so in a heatwave you might want to be wary of being out in the sun all day. The showers are clean and efficient. There's 6 or 7, I think, male showers, plus a similar number of toilet stalls and the same number again of female showers and toilets, serving a site of 106 pitches. It seems to be adequate. There's a family shower room and disabled facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful. There were several groups of young men and young women around school leaver age. They were all well behaved and respectful towards other campers. There was no noise late at night. I was very impressed by this. I liked this site a lot and would recommend it.

4 night camp

Lovely setting. Nice level pitches. Friendly staff, always on hand if needed. Nice to be able to order fresh pastries for breakfast. Only slight downside was it was Goodwood weekend, and the many overnight campers going to it had little or no regard for those that were not, especially at 5.30am, with lots of shouting across to each other, door banging etc. It would not stop us coming again, but will avoid this weekend in future.

Just the job!

The staff were so helpful and constantly working on the upkeep of the site. Just a short bike ride or walk to the beach, very good!

Great stay

We had a lovely trip camping with baby and friends. We have decided to make it an annual event, the campsite was perfect for us!

We were very impressed with Stubcroft Farm Campsite. The staff were especially helpful and went out of their way to help us on our very first caravan stay.

Great weekend

Fabulous location and site, we had a wonderful weekend. Easy walking to East and West Wittering. The campsite was full, so showers were a bit of a queue but clean and plenty of hot water. Really well run site. Nice touches like pastries to order. We will be back 😁

Excellent campsite, highly recommend

Amazing campsite, the staff are all welcoming and helpful, the facilities are spotless and our pitch was a great size for our tent. Highly recommend staying here, one of the best campsites I've been to.

Good clean campsite with very friendly staff

The campsite was nice and only a 20-30 minute walk to East Wittering beach, the facilities were good and very clean! The staff were really friendly!

Wonderful camping holiday

Fabulous friendly staff, very welcoming. Very clean facilities, with ample hot water. Great location very near Brackelsham Bay, East and West Wittering. Lovely restaurants close by and convenience stores. Great holiday. Thank you xx

Really nice campsite and facilities were really clean. The staff couldn't be more helpful and were really friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay!

I came alone with my dog and it was great! First thing's first: I felt safe to be there. That was my main worry, as a first time single-camper. The site has a lovely size - not too big and overcrowded. It's situated perfectly in the countryside (no stars unfortunately, was so cloudy) and only 20-30 mins away from my favourite beach. Sheep, horses, rabbits just around the corner too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fresh water everywhere (and very tasty!). The facilities were very clean, I was actually surprised. Fresh baked goods and things to order for breakfast. If there's one downside, with rainy weather, I would love a little rain cover in front of the main building for the dogs that are waiting for their family to be done with their business. And maybe a stove to use? I will definitely come back!

Its great that enjoyed the pastries from the new food trailer and you felt safe as well. There is a covered area by the service point near the amenity block entrance which can be used for dogs in rainy weather and we are currently converting the old log shed opposite the entrance as an undercover seating area for the cafe trailer which may also be helpful. We hope you'll be able to visit us again soon!

Our stay

Excellent site, staff extremely helpful and kind. The only thing that was an inconvenience was the toilet block was quite a walk from our pitch, especially at night. But cannot fault the staff or the cleanliness. Would book again if toilet block was closer :)

For future reference, although it is only a 1-2 minute walk from the furthest fields to the main amenity block, you can request a pitch closer to the facilities if you want when you book and we have also recently opened four new "Scandi Style" Ecoloos near Oak & Willow Fields which replaced the old style ecoloos and are more convenient for these fields. It was a pleasure having you to stay and we hope to see you again soon.

Beautiful campsite with a great location. All staff were really friendly and helpful. Facilities were lovely and clean, will definitely be returning.

Overnight stay

We stayed while doing a 'try before you buy' with a VW campervan. Staff could not have been more helpful to make sure we had what we needed. Very clean facilities. Staff friendly and approachable. Also have extras from BBQs and fire pits to rent plus local food to buy. Love the recycling bag to assist all campers in the recycling to aid their eco / sustainable ethos.

A lovely stay!

Our first time camping at Stubcroft and it won't be our last! Staff were all so friendly, facilities immaculate and the location was great for the beach and East Witterings village. They put on an Easter egg hunt for the kids and they absolutely loved it. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful stay

Excellent campsite, wonderful staff and everything you need for a stay. Location is lovely too if you like to take a walk around. The only thing you need to watch out for is the access road to the campsite is a little bumpy, so just watch out if your vehicles are lowered.

Thanks Ricardo for your great review. With the lane, we are a rural farm site and have three lanes that lead down to us but two of them are farm tracks. Whilst they are nice to walk to the local villages & beaches to get something to eat or drink or do some shopping, they are marked as unsuitable for vehicles and sometimes satnavs bring people in the wrong way so you may have used the wrong one? On the confirmation email there is a link to the map & directions of how to find us which we recommend customers to follow. We're pleased that you had such a good stay.
