Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2026

Absolutely stunning site. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shop had some good stock but the food and Stout on draught was phenomenal. I would recommend bringing flip-flops to the showers as they don't quite slope all the way to the drain, but it was all clean. Couldn't have asked for a better camping site.

Great campsite and great home brewed beer

Camping was great. A bit on the expensive side but can see they are putting a lot of work and money into creating a great campsite.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2026

Good campsite in a great spot, lots of facilities, showers, bar, shop. Great views from the campsite. Definitely recommend. Was nice and quiet when I was there, could be busy during weekends and school holidays. Fair price for the amount of facilities

Always love staying here when in the area. Most gorgeous views and great for the lake access. Good facilities and great for all ages. Highly recommend this campsite

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2026

This campsite is well run, friendly and has lots of little luxuries, like a boiling water point and microwaves in addition to the obvious luxury of the brewery and pizza place. I really enjoyed my time there. Staff were super friendly. The main downside was that the site was huge and fully booked the weekend I went, so it did feel pretty crowded. However, it was half term and excellent weather, so I don't think it would normally be like that.

Great site ruined by midges

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2026

Really nice site, however a midge infestation made the experience terrible and we only ended staying one night :( From dusk and dawn, they were everywhere and biting, and it's been painful and itchy since. So - cannot fault the facilities and site itself, and the location, which were all really nice, but sadly cannot recommend at least during midge season :(

Wonderful!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2026

We're a regular here, and the site have acted on feedback from clients: toilets now open 24 hours, upgraded the eating area, have a sperate bar,.more warden visibility and improved the access road. A great stay as usual - breath taking views.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2026

Great site to tackle the 'Watkin Path' with fabulous facilities. Ticks a lot of boxes. I visited when site full for Spring half term but it never felt overcrowded. Respectfully campers. Quiet after 11pm. Only downside was the midges which were rampant. That's nature for you though. 45 minute walk to beginning of Watkin path up Snowdon. Great pizza and beers onsite.
