VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2024 Lovely peaceful site. Excellent facilities, as spacious pitches, well placed for exploring the Cotswolds and beautiful Minchinhampton to explore.
A keeper Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2024 No real effort was put into making the decision to stay here, but as it turns out, it was a great choice.
The camping paddock is attractive and maintained, and the pictures are very generous. The shower block was spotless on arrival. You're met by the lady who runs the campsite and are taken into your pitch. In our case, she chose one with partial shade for the dogs which I thought was kind. When I took the dogs out for a final stretch at nine thirty-ish, I noticed some fire pits were going strong and people enjoying themselves. Having said that, everyone kept their voices down and I turned in a few minutes later, had no trouble getting to sleep and heard nothing from other campers.
I have never chosen an adult only site before, but I will certainly choose one again for the peace and quiet. The village is literally not even five minutes walking distance and we found a nice little pub to have a pint before we return to the campsite for supper. My wife wandered in the next morning to have a look around the charity shops and returned a very happy lady.
I don't believe anyone would be disappointed with this campsite, unless you had to have a hardstanding pitch, in which case is not for you. But for us, the ground was incredibly firm and even with our fairly large motorhome, we had no issues whatsoever.
Great adults only campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric May 2024 I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tobacconist Farm Campsite and it exceeded all my expectations. As a well-established adults-only site, it provided the perfect getaway. The location was fantastic, nestled amidst scenic walks. Beside us were two friendly and adorable donkeys. Host Lucy was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities were top-notch, boasting everything from underfloor heating to a washing machine, not to mention the convenience of provided fire pits and logs. The tranquil atmosphere made for a peaceful retreat, and I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I can't wait to return to this hidden gem!
Enjoyed our stay. Recommends site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2024 Great location and lovely big pitches. All grass pitches but thin layer of soil over limestone , so good drainage.
Facilities were lovely and clean and well set out, although we had no need to use them. Lovely donkeys in the field next to our van. Lucy very helpful and plenty of fire pits for sitting outside with.
Easy walk into the village/ town for bakers, butchers, groceries, fish and chips & pubs. Picturesque town/ village. Great walks over nearby common. Sat Nav brought us through the village and although we managed it(7.6 m motorhome) it was tight but there is an alternative road alongside Gatcombe Park.

Absolutely amazing Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2024 The site was amazing, large pitches, so quiet and clean and the facilities were spot on.
We took our dog, and there was a separate walking facility right on site, which I thought was well planned and a poo bin with bags if needed, we did take our own!
Lucy was lovely and was there if needed, but left us alone to enjoy our stay.
Definitely going again, hopefully in September.
Wonderful stay Recommends site

Sunny weekend trip Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2024 We stayed as two couples, one of us paid for the electric and stayed in our campervan whilst the others were just in their tent. We were close to be able to move from one set up to. Facilities were clean and above expectation with a communal area. The person who runs the site is lovely and very helpful. Loved the donkeys as well! Lots of walks around however only small shops in walking distance due to the area.
Relaxing stay Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2024 We had a great stay at Tobacconist Farm campsite, facilities were spotless, and the whole site is peaceful and tranquil. The location is perfect for exploring the Five valleys and the glorious commons around Stroud. Lucy was a great help when we needed guidance in where to find help to fix the inevitable maintenance problem with the caravan. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Perfect campsite Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2024 Such a lovely site.
The bathrooms were so clean - and it's lovely to have bathrooms!!
The village was an easy walking distance and the shops had everything you need: butchers sold all sorts and the bake house cafe sold artisan bread etc. The premier had the basics covered.
April weekend Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2024 All facilities were exactly as described and it was a very convenient 10-minute walk to The Crown in Minchinhampton.
Fire pits were available to bring over to the pitch, which was a bonus we have not found on other sites. Because of the higher level of the site, it was great to access an all-grass pitch so early in the year.
Really enjoyed our stay.
Recommended for a quiet stay in a lovely area Recommends site
Medium Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2024 A nice little site with good facilities. Quiet and pleasant; I would go again.
First time at Tobacconists Farm Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2024 This was our first time at the campsite. Lucy met us at the gate and immediately made us welcome.
The camping field has a deceptive slope, so ramps are recommended. The facilities block was amazing and the facilities are of a very high standard.
Due to persistent recent rain, the ground was soft and the gentle slope did provide a challenge in pulling the van off the pitch.
Minchinhampton is a wonderful South Cotswold village and worth a visit.
Perfect for our stay, lovely peaceful site! Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2024 A really lovely site, big pitches with plenty of space in between. Plenty of hot water and toilets/showers always clean. Peaceful and relaxing. Close to village for pub and shop and lovely walks across the common. Would recommend.
