Riverside Chalet and Caravan Park is next to the River Blackwater, with some of the Munro mountains almost on your doorstep, plus great fishing, hiking and mountain biking at the Strathpuffer 24. Down by the river you can watch the local heron who loves to fish or try swimming and paddling. Also in reach are Loch Ness, the Cairngorms and the lovely Isle of Skye.

About the site
This site is very quiet and set next to the tranquil River Blackwater, offering a relaxing break where you can enjoy nature at its best. You'll be just a short way from the main road to Ullapool, where you can easily catch a ferry to the Scottish Isles. It's also a short drive to Inverness and Loch Ness. This is centrally located for getting to all of the Highlands and is on the NC500. All 20 pitches here are on grass, with almost half offering the convenience of electric hook-up. Campervans, caravans and motorhomes are welcome. Or, if you don't want to deal with the hassle of hammering in tent pegs, there is a Mongolian Yurt onsite with gorgeous views towards River Blackwater. Ideal for couples, there is a double bed with all bedding, linen and towels included. The yurt also has a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, sandwich toaster, microwave and kettle. There are also USB charging points, free WiFi and a fan, a fan heater and a wood-burner to keep you cosy. Guests have use of the shared bathroom facilities. Please note, this site is pet free.
