About the site

Set on the banks of the River Tryweryn in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, this campsite is just a ten minute drive from the market town of Bala. Surrounded by woodland and a white-water river, it's an ideal base for outdoor adventures or a relaxing escape. Choose from a range of level grass and hardstanding pitches, all close to the river and suitable for tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Touring guests can enjoy 16 amp hook ps, with fully serviced grass and hardstanding options also available. For a more traditional camping experience, the spacious grass field has no designated pitches so you can pick your perfect spot. Covered picnic tables and free-to-hire fire pits are also available for toasting marshmallows! If you'd rather leave the tent at home, stay in one of the heated camping pods or the cosy furnished geodome, both sleeping up to four people. The camping pods have a great view of the river and include a double bed, two single beds, an outdoor cooking area and a picnic bench for al fresco dining. Please bring your own bedding, towels and cooking equipment. The geodome is furnished with a double bed and a versatile day bed, which can be set up as either two single beds or one king-size bed. Inside, you'll also find a wooden table with two chairs and a wood-burner. Outside, there is a decking with a picnic bench and two camping chairs. BBQs are encouraged here, and blocks are provided to raise them off the ground. Dogs are welcome too, with scenic walks starting straight from the site for them to explore.

Tyn Cornel Camping is open from 20/03 to 31/10. Pitches from £31/night for 2 people.
