Clear filters Nice place to stay, really pretty surroundings
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2024 It was a really nice campsite, could have been a bit cheaper for a non electrical pitch was £66 for two nights.
I feel a patch on the grass should be a bit cheaper than that. However, reception were really friendly, campsite was nicely maintained and the location was perfect for what we wanted to do, eating and walking.

The perfect pitch!
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan Pitches Sep 2024 We drove over 5 hours to reach the site and we were stuck in motorway traffic for over an hour, we panicked that we wouldn't make it to check in before 8pm. However, the remote check in was available, which was a massive weight off our shoulders! We received a guided map to our pitch on arrival, so we quickly found our pitch.
The site catered for everyone! There were showers, toilets, running water, electric hook ups and the guest WIFI was great. There was a washing up area, washing machines and even tumbler dryers!
To make it even better, the site was surrounded by rolling hills and a gorgeous stream. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be making a return! Thank you.
Great place to stay for Snowdonia
Sep 2024 We visited Cae Du years ago and now it has reopened so decided to go back.
A large campsite, quiet policy from 9.30pm. Lovely pitches with water and electric next to them. Motorhome service point is great. Showers and toilets (2 blocks) were very clean. Views lovely and only a 15 min walk (along the river if you want) to Beddgelert where there are coffee shops/pizza place/ice cream shop and bistro/pub. Great site for walks straight from the door and only around 5 min drive (or 3km walk) to the start of the Watkin Path for Snowdon.
Would definitely return. Ideal for a walking break/holiday with family/peace and quiet.
Great site in a picturesque setting
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hard Ground Pitches Sep 2024 Lovely site in a beautiful setting. A really pretty lake is on the site and there are picnic tables scattered around. Just a 15 minute walk along the river (or road) into Beddgelert, where there are pubs and tea rooms. The showers and toilets are really clean and very spacious.
The staff are lovely, helpful and welcoming. We were also lucky with the weather - the beautiful sunshine made our break even more special. Highly recommend and we will come back.
Lovely site
Motorhome - Electric Hard Ground Pitches Sep 2024 Lovely site. We arrived very early as we were having problems with our Motorhome and the staff were very helpful and let us on to our pitch as it was empty.
The shower block was very clean. Bit of a pain as they are push showers but did the job. I loved the heat of the showers but was far too hot for my partner and would imagine they would be too hot for a child. Lovely walks and only took us 10 minutes to walk to the village that has a few pubs and a shop that stocks everything you could need. Very good bus links from the village.
A brilliant find in a lovely village
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan Pitches Sep 2024 The best place we have stayed all holiday. With friendly staff, a great spot and just a 10-15 minute walk into Bedgellert village, which is so picturesque. It had a great restaurant called Hebdog and the St. Lawrence pub was good for food too.
There was a lovely pathway alongside the river from the campsite down to the town. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night.

Perfect, quiet site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hard Ground Pitches Sep 2024 We have just had 3 great night's at this site. The shower block and toilets are spotlessly clean. Lots of hot water. Washing up area too. The whole site is clean and well maintained.
It is a very quiet site - perfect. Only a 10 min walk into the village. Riverside walk is handy for dogs but to make it 100% perfect, would like a designated dog area where dogs can run and play instead of just lead work.

Brilliant stay

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan Pitches Sep 2024 Wonderful place to spend a few nights - such a warm welcome from staff when we arrived and some great hiking tips and maps from the communal area. Swimming in the river on site and an amazing waterfall walk just a couple of hours away, and the views even from the campsite are lush! Would definitely recommend.
My stay
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2024 A great location within walking distance of the village. Generous pitches and good facilities to hand. Loads of hot water on tap or in showers. Detailed walking guides to choose from, led us to a super walk. I appreciated the facilities, which were well thought out and practical, and always spotless. The site is also kept immaculate with plantings in hand and some delightful wanders on site, especially the scenic lake and lovely river.
Well worth a visit
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan Pitches Aug 2024 The park was easy to find and in a prime location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park so the location is absolutely amazing, you wake up in the morning to the most fabulous views of the Snowdonia National Park.
The park was reasonably priced, due to the location. The facilities are pretty basic and could do with a bit of an upgrade, especially the shower block. We also thought £4 for use of the tumble dryer was a bit steep.
That said, the site was family friendly and has a policy of no noise after 20:30hrs. What was lovely was an early morning dip in the river which runs through the site.

Great but not the best
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent and Campervan Pitches Aug 2024 Location was fantastic. Value for money, compared to others, very expensive. Standard of service was great, except that they had booked someone else under my name before I arrived. Young lady said "you are booked already, what can I say." Hearing this after 6hrs drive to get there was not a nice welcome.
Facilities, I felt there were not enough showers and toilets for so many people. Queuing every morning to get to the shower or toilet! Also, very old toilets, broken and showers should be replaced. Tall people are struggling to get under the shower. Cleanliness, it was spotless, everyday all facilities were cleaned.
Overall, good but could be better if few things will be improved

An amazing campsite

The campsite is in an amazing location, the staff was very helpful, the amenities were all very clean and the whole campsite is very well looked after 😀👍🏻
