We will be back

Nice and quiet and full of friendly guests. No music and no noise after 10:30, which was great. Shower/wash block and an adjacent field to walk/run the dog. Walking distance to Robin Hood's Bay and at least 2 pubs - we will be back.

Fantastic for families!

Our first camping trip and will not be out last! A perfect location on a lovely family site. It was well kept and there was a great little park my daughter couldn't keep away from. We will be back, thank you for having us!

Great campsite

Lovely soft flat grass for easy pitching. A short walk to Robin Hood's Bay, downhill all the way (so a bit of a lungbuster on the way back!). Good facilities and very clean. A great stay.

Great site and brilliantly located, would highly recommend

I camped with my wife and our son for 3 nights on the non-electric field. The pitch provided was more than large enough for what we required, The location was fantastic. I would recommend a walk down to Boggles Hole if you're after a beach day. The Flyingdale Inn, 10 minutes from the campsite, was great for food and had a cracking beer garden. We will definitely be back to use this site again.

Great location

Great location, only 10 minutes walk from the beach and Robin Hoods Bay. Facilities were clean and the site was very friendly and picturesque.

Great holiday park

Great campsite in a magical location! Well organised for holidaymakers' comfort and very clean various facilities. My daughter loved the playground and I loved the surroundings which has so much to offer for lovely walks. We will miss it, no doubt!

Lovely location

The site was great, lovely place. Unfortunately, some areas were dirty but can't put that down to the site. Takes 2 mins to clean areas, like washing up, that were filthy at times.

Great place

Great facilities, very clean and well kept! My first time camping with my little boy on my own and couldn't have felt more comfortable, and he had an absolute blast! We will definitely be booking again soon.

Lovely site

Lovely park, facilities spotlessly clean. Really handy for Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby. Highly recommend, will definitely return.

Great site for Robin Hood's Bay

Great location with easy access to the beach and Robin Hood's Bay by walk through fields or via road through village, both took around 15min. Owners very helpful and more than happy to help when I didn't have right connection for the drinking water tap. Will definitely be looking to go back in the future.

Quiet spot, close to Robin Hood's Bay

Slightly smaller pitches than anticipated so very close to next van. Mixed camping field with tents, pods, Caravans and MoHos all together, which made a change. Reasonable toilet and shower facilities with plenty of hot water and a decent pre-set 5 mins on the shower runtime, so you don't have to keep pressing the button. Chap on reception was friendly and welcoming. Weather was atrocious during our short stay and we tripped our electric twice while drying to warm up and dry things off. There's a 10kw trip on the boxes, so watch out for that. Overall, a nice quiet site and close to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, but nothing to make it stand out for us.

Relaxing

Had a lovely time. Picked for the location as was planning to do a lot of walking. But a week before, I tore my ligament in my knee. Still went and just chilled, lucky with the weather as it only rained when was watching England beat Switzerland in my tent 😊 Toilet block with the free showers was so clean. Good washing up facilities as my husband found out, some advantages having a bad knee. Enough space between pitches as well. Will definitely go back as very scenic area.

Fabulous stay

Very roomy pod with comfy beds. Close to facilities and quiet at night. Location is part of a lovely farm and not too crowded. Walk to Bay is not too far and short drive to Whitby. Would highly recommend.

Friendly quiet site (outside school holidays) just a few minutes walk from Robin Hood's Bay and beach. Would go again!

Amazing stay as always

I've stayed here 5/6 times now over the last 10 or so years and it never fails to disappoint. The peaceful, scenic stroll down to Robin Hood's Bay is a real highlight for me as I think the tiny coastal town is such a beautiful place to spend time, and I have many treasured memories there thanks to this perfectly situated campsite. The campsite is spacious, so offers space for children to play around in, making it ideal for families, but also the beautiful setting makes it perfect for couples too. There is always such a friendly atmosphere every time I come here and it has started to feel like a second home to me now. I can't recommend this place enough, and as for the location, anyone who hasn't explored this beautiful part of the country is missing out.

Convenient site for Robin Hood's Bay

The campsite was relatively quiet, it was mid week and not school holidays. I expect it will get very busy at peak times. Looking at the pitch spacings, you'd be packed in like sardines at peak times. The toilet block was ok, small, but fine for the number of people there. The pitch was on a bit of a slope, but it was manageable. The main problem for us was a dog barking in the neighbouring houses. This was intermittently throughout the day and night. Having a dog with us, during the night, the barking would wake our dog who would bark or growl back. So we had very little sleep. Not helped by someone in a camper van slamming his boot until 1am. We were like zombies the next day.

Wonderful stay, spotless site and everyone friendly

Absolutely loved this site, so peaceful in a beautiful setting. The site is well maintained, the facilities are cleaned twice a day with lovely showers. The short walk to Robin Hood's Bay was lovely. Definitely coming again, can't wait to come back.

Poor site facilities

Poor site facilities for a supposedly '5 star site'. Would not recommend or go back. 3 water taps for the whole site, very poor quality hardstanding, I feel that the recycling needs sorting out - all rubbish seems to go in a skip.

Amazing

Very nice place to camp, would highly recommend it 👍 with a great 10 minute walk to the beach and amazing views on the cliff tops.

Good family weekend

Really enjoyed our weekend, facilities on family field a little dated but clean and all working. Play park was lovely. Walked down into Robin Hood's Bay along a cinder track, just a fab location. We had 4 and 7 year old who both had the best weekend!

Lovely campsite, perfect location, really enjoyed our stay

We stayed with young children for a weekend away. The campsite was clean, pitches were a decent size, there were farm animals around. The site was a 10 minute walk down to the Robin Hood's Bay village which was perfect. The facilities were great, lots of toilets close to the pitches, park area for the children, freezer and laundry room, lots of bins around. We would definitely visit again! Thank you.
