About the site

Set in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, this scenic camping and touring park enjoys a riverside location beside the River Dee, just a five minute walk from the village of Ballater, where you'll find a selection of pubs and shops. Younger guests can enjoy the play area, complete with swings and slides, while fitness enthusiasts can make use of the outdoor gym equipment to start the day. Cyclists are well catered for, with secure bike storage providing the ideal base for exploring the mountain trails or the Deeside Way. Anglers can also enjoy salmon fishing on the River Dee! Guests can choose from five non electric grass pitches or five electric grass pitches for tents, and 35 hardstanding touring pitches with 16 amp hook ups and awning space. There are also 14 fully serviced hardstanding pitches equipped with fresh water and grey waste connections. Dogs are welcome, and a dedicated dog wash is available to help keep muddy paws clean. Small charcoal or gas BBQs are permitted, provided they are raised off the ground. Please note that fire pits and open fires are not allowed.

* Check-in is from 12:15pm until 7pm. Please advise the site if you are delayed.

* Check out is by 11:30am.

* Dogs must be kept on a lead and supervised at all times.

* BBQs must be raised off the ground and extinguished by 9pm.

* Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30pm and 7am.

* No ball games around the pitches.
