VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches May 2024 Although my stay was reduced to two nights due to bad weather, I cannot fault anything about Nantcol (except I had a bit of bother with the shower card). The area is absolutely beautiful and the staff very friendly. I hope to come back one day.
Fantastic site
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches May 2024 We really enjoyed our stay at this site. The facilities were excellent. Showers amazing, private water so a small fee of 50p was payable but well worth it!!! Good sized pitch. We were on pitch no 2 and would ask for that one again. Lovely grounds and walks to the waterfall and woodlands. The owner and her family are really nice and wanted to make sure our stay was good. There is also firepits available, again for a small fee. Lovely picnic areas around the site. Really lovely.

Wonderful break!
Camping Pod - Luxury Ensuite Glamping Pods Apr 2024 We travelled to Nantcol for a couple nights. It was everything we wanted!
The area was tranquil, quiet & surrounded by hills, woodlands and streams. The campsite was clean, tidy and although we didn't use them, the shower facilities were clean too.
There was a stream that ran through the campsite which was refreshing to take a dip in. The hike up to the top of the waterfalls was hard in some parts, but the views were spectacular!
We stayed in a luxury pod. It was cosy, warm, clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom and kitchen area had everything we needed. The fire pit and outdoor seating made the evenings nice and relaxed.
All the other campers were friendly & the owners were wonderful. We will absolutely be returning!! Thank you for a wonderful break and the welcome package!

Large Tent - Grass Camping Pitches Apr 2024 Lovely site in a stunning location, very scenic with fabulous facilities, which were spotless. Honestly couldn't fault the set up they have there.
Staff were lovely and we had a great stay that our British weather cut short slightly, but would recommend the campsite and would definitely stay again if up in North Wales.

Just a minor point, could do with a few litter bins on the walk paths as I noticed some irresponsible beings had left drinks cups etc in bushes etc, which was a shame.
Also, maybe the site shop could stock a little more. I thought I saw when I was searching somewhere that it was listed as having a farm shop, and so we had not brought our fridge items with us, so that we could support the business and have fresh goods bought at site, so that was a little disappointing.
We would definitely visit again.

Incredible place
Small Tent - Grass Camping Pitches Mar 2024 This place is absolutely amazing! I really can't recommend enough - it's so picturesque and has this outstanding feel to it.
The forest around the site is breath-taking. If you go up the hills, you'll be able to see the sea from the distance where the sun sets. The sheep are so cute, it was the highlight of our stay.
We will definitely be going back, there's just so much to see around, all the little walks end up taking hours because of how vast the entire area is. The only minor downside is that the water in the sinks were cold and the shower unfortunately was a bit cold as well, and considering the weather at this time of the year (March) it could use being warmer, but overall it didn't effect the great experience that we had. The waterfalls are magnificent.

Small Tent - Grass Camping Pitches Oct 2023 Beautiful location, peace, tranquillity and lots to do around the site. Walking wise, great location for magnificent Harlech Beach. The site is clean, all amenities first class and a high standard.

View was incredible. Not too far from the stream. Beautiful, calm, and peaceful camping site with the sound of birds chirping. I have never slept that well in a campsite.
Facilities: Clean drinking water? Sorted. Shower? Sorted. Separate men/women toilet in pristine condition? Check. Hiking trails and waterfalls nearby? Check. World heritage site, Harlech Castle, 15 mins away? Check.
Would recommend this site. Will be visiting soon.

Fishing holiday
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches Oct 2023 Fantastic site nestling in Snowden National park, on the edge of Nantcol Waterfalls. Perfect spot for fishing, super friendly proprietors. Will definitely come back again.
Brilliant site
Motorhome - Grass Touring Pitches Oct 2023 We just had an overnight stay to run our dogs on Barmouth beach. The campsite is a short drive away.
What a beautiful site it is. I would think for families with kids, it is great. There is a safe river to play in. There are some easy walks around the area as well. It's a very clean and well looked after site. We will use it again I am sure.
