About the site

Set in the scenic foothills of the Malvern Hills, the site sits on the border of Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. The campsite is an ideal base if you want to follow in the footsteps of Edward Elgar and stretch your legs on the hills. You'll also be just five minutes from Great Malvern, with shops and cosy pubs, with Worcester around 25 minutes away by car. The site features 160 grass pitches, spread across a wide, open field with non electric and 16 amp electric options. Pitches are 10m x 9m and suitable for tents, campervans, trailer and roof tents, caravans and motorhomes, with a minimum of 2m between, giving plenty of space to spread out. Dogs are welcome at the site, with up to two allowed per pitch. Please note, raised BBQs and fire pits are allowed, so you can enjoy cooking on warm evenings.

A note from the site themselves...

Historically, the campsite was only available during events held on the showground. Then Covid hit, and events were pretty much not a thing.

Like other organisations, the showground had to look for other ways of staying afloat. And like many organisations, with air travel restricted, it was decided to offer the campsite on a more regular basis.

Thankfully, the showground can host dozens of events again, some small, some large, but we realised there is a demand for somewhere to stay in the Malvern Hills National Landscape (formerly an AONB). So, while it's not a long history, it's become an integral part of the showground.
