A beautiful location
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Very peaceful and spacious. Nice walk to the beach and countryside, a great walk to Weymouth. Facilities are clean and would recommend. The Smugglers Inn is close by and definitely worth a visit.
First visit to this gem of a campsite

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 We had a lovely two night stay with our three young children. We didn't want to go too far to test the waters for their first camping trip! We all loved it and we are now planning on making it a yearly thing!

Wonderful campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 This was our first time at Rosewall but it definitely won't be our last. We have been searching for a campsite in Dorset where we can base ourselves during our breaks away. The others were nice but this place is stunning.
The hills, the sea, the super friendly staff, great pitches and the shower blocks being spotless made for a truly lovely stay.
We all agreed that we had finally found "the one".

Plenty of room for pitches. Beautiful view of the sea. 10 minute walk to amazing pub and 15 minutes to a rocky beach which was fine. Although, we were told by a local that there is another about a mile away which is sandy. For a quiet and restful weekend away this is highly recommended and we'll definitely be back.
A lovely site with great walks and views
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 This is a site with a great view of the sea and countryside from a variety of pitches. The ability to choose your own pitch was a plus and the owners request of leaving plenty of space between each group was a definite advantage.
We had a great time with our dog taking him on some great walks in the local area. There is a lovely pub between the site and the sea which was ideal.
Overall a lovely site that we will definitely return to!

The facilities were all really clean, everyone was friendly and respectful!

Clean site, hot showers, toilets have plug sockets and usb charging points.
Short drive to Weymouth, Smugglers inn short walk from site well worth a visit.
Fires/ BBQ's allowed if off the floor.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 This campsite is very close to the sea and within walking distance of a superb pub. This was important to our stay as the weather was less than kind. Facilities were perfect. The campsite is all grass and it's a case of pitch where you like with polite notes to keep your distance from other people. We will definitely stay again. Thank you.
One of our favourite campsites
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 This was our second visit to Rosewall and this time, we took the rest of the family. This is a great campsite for couples and families alike.
The showers and toilets are always clean and well kept. The pub is a short walk away and Weymouth town centre is a short drive away. There is a small shop on site which we found really handy to buy ice packs for our cool box. This is a really nicely setup for camping, with lots of hedge lines and corners to set your tent up along. It is a little hilly, so places to rig your tent can be a little restricted, but has never been an issue for us.
My only downside is it is a little more expensive than other sites I have stayed at, but the facilities make it worth it.
