Located at Hemsby, where you'll find a great beach and lots of family friendly seaside activities, Long Beach Caravan Park is also an easy drive from Great Yarmouth's attractions. A 10 minute drive takes you to the start of The Broads.

About the site

The site is set on a private estate, including a lovely section of Winterton Great Valley and a fabulous stretch of beach on the Norfolk Coast. The main park, the static park, glamping and bungalows are by the beach. Just 300 yards from the main site is an area known as Hemsby Tents and Touring this is the main touring site open from March to November. It's well lit and ideal for families. This area is just for campers and tourers, with its own facilities and a set of 16 amp electric points and electric car charging. If you're in the mood for a touch of luxury, why not stay in one of the three glamping options on site - safari style tents, sea view pods and countryman huts. There are four pods, all enjoying stunning sea views and sleeping up to three. Each pod has a double bed and sofa bed with linen provided and a shower room with shower, toilet and sink. There's a kitchenette with a hob, kettle, toaster, fridge and small freezer and a seating area outside where you can relax and take in the sea views. There's also three safari style tents, all set in their own private space and each with a covered veranda and sleeping up to five. Dawn and Hope tents both enjoy sea views, while Ormande is dog friendly. All have two bedrooms with ready made beds, one with a double bed and the other with a double bed and single bunk over the top. There's a shower room with shower, toilet and sink as well as a kitchenette with hob, kettle, toaster, fridge and small freezer. There are three countryman huts (new for 2025). Each with their own kitchenette, with a hob, kettle, toaster, fridge and small freezer and a two seater sofa. For both the pods, countryman huts, and safari style tents, all crockery and utensils are included, you'll just need to bring your own towels. The park also includes a selection of great static caravans for sale. Dogs are welcome.

Site facilities include free showers, toilets, a washing up area and a playground for kids. The Hemsby tent and touring includes two toilet/shower/disabled blocks.

The park includes a basic shop. The Dolphin Lounge Bar which serves food and has internet available. Close by is the Sandsgate Bar which is open to non members and hosts lots of entertainment and events.

Buses are available from Beach Road to Hemsby and Great Yarmouth.

We regret we are unable to accept parties of young people.

We're not into a lot of rules. It boils down to being a good neighbour on the park: the warden will be the judge of that.

No liability can be accepted for any accident or injury to any member of the party included in the booking or to visitors, or for loss or damage to the personal property including tents, caravans and vehicles, unless caused by the negligence of the owners of the Park, their agents or employees.

Dogs must be kept on a lead and exercised off the Park.

Pitches must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure unless prior arrangements have been made with the Warden.

Things to do on site and in the Hemsby area

Make the six mile hop to Great Yarmouth where you'll have a scream at the Pleasure Beach, see a show on the old timey pier, get active with sports and swimming or relax along the coast.

The best way to see The Broads is from the tranquil gliding of a hired boat, but you should also have a tasty Sunday lunch in one of the pubs by the water and take a sunset stroll by the water.

A full day's fun can be easily found at Norwich with its historic cathedral, foodie restaurants and pleasant streets lined with shops.
