A note from the site themselves...

When we brought the land, it hadn't been used in over 50 years. It was very overgrown and unwelcoming and with lots and lots of work it has become what it is today.

In 2022, we welcomed our little boy. We decided to name the site after our son, Arthur, hopefully it will become something special for Arthur to take over when he's old enough.

The site attracts lots of wildlife now. We have lots of ducks and moor hens visit and regularly see deer, owls, buzzards and hares, it has really has become a little beauty spot. We hope you'll enjoy as much as we do, we hope to meet you soon, Hollie

Motorhome - Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric)Apr 2025

Just spent 2 nights here and loved it. Hollie, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. Although the site is small, the pitches are a generous size, and the picnic tables are a nice touch. It's very peaceful and well kept, with a lovely pond so was nice to watch the ducks, ducklings, birds and bats in the evening, and see the beautiful sunrise and sunset across the fields. Absolutely fantastic value for money and we will definitely return!

If we could have given more stars, we would! No, it's not perfectly flat, no there are no showers or toilets but, most caravans and motorhomes have those inbuilt, so why would you need them? The site is perfect for a short getaway. If you don't have a shower, toilet and transport, then maybe it's not for you, but this is all reflected in the pitch fees. Whatever you do, don't mark the site down for not having something that it states it doesn't have! We have been caravanning and motorhoming for 40 years and I can honestly say that we've never found a site that represented better value for money. It's a lovely location with beautiful landscaping and fabulous, welcoming and friendly owners. Arthur is delightful and says it as it is, but he's allowed to cos he's only 3 (nearly). We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Holly.

VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric)Mar 2025

My first time of using my old campervan with my 2 dogs. Site was perfect for a newbie. Lovely large pitch with water and EHU. I wanted somewhere that was easy so I could practice setting up and to try to see how my dogs were. The owner was lovely. Came and said hi, and checked everything was okay and then left, but made it clear if any help was needed or any issues to ring or go knock on the door. For what I wanted, site was perfect.
