A note from the site themselves...
We are a family run business whose ethos is creating special memories through quality time. We live onsite and love sharing our home with guests - my Dad was born in the area and grew up on the farm.
Originally a working farm, Wooda was home to 200 sheep and 50 dairy cows, looked after by Jim and Bessie Colwill, who also ran a cosy B and B. You can still spot the old milk churns around the farm, and the Courtyard Bar, once the milking parlour, now showcases some of the original hand tools from its farming days!
We love that we can play a part in making people happy and especially love how many repeat guests we get each year. Our staff are like family and we like to think that guests enjoy becoming a part of that too! We can't wait to welcome you to our beautiful part of the country.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesMay 2025
Had a 3 night stay. Pitches were a good size and the facilities on site were very good, no complaints. Location good but with poor weather, not much to do close by so around 1hr travel if wanting to go do stuff.
Would still recommend and already planning to book to come back.

We are very lucky to be situated in easy driving distance of Devon, as well as our home county of Cornwall. Whether you want to explore and experience the Cornish coast, or see what delights Devon has to offer, we have the best of both worlds as there are lots of places to visit within a 30 minute drive.
Cornwall offers endless possibilities for days out and a plethora of coves, beaches, harbours and moors to explore. From the idyllic south coast to the famous rugged beaches of the north coast. Explore the Eden Project, eat some fish and chips in Padstow, get an ice cream in Newquay, discover the Lost Gardens of Heligan, visit King Arthur’s castle in Tintagel, ramble around the moors or stay here in Bude and make the most of our immediate surroundings.
Bude is located just a stone’s throw from the Cornwall Devon border, making it the perfect place to explore either county. Travelling up the coast you will find countless beauty spots in Devon, including the fishing village of Clovelly, the golden beaches of Croyde, Woolacoombe and Saunton Sands and the heritage coast of Hartland!
