Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025

Nice site/location with above average facilities. Only downside were the faulty PIR light sensors within the mens facilities, meaning the lights were always flashing on/off. The main thing that brought this down were a few other campers unfortunately. I've no idea if there are set site rules, but you would have thought common courtesy would prevail in most cases. Unfortunately, we were pitched next to a 10-15 person group who had music playing out in the open until 10:30pm at night and then continued to be loud until about 11:30pm. This is obviously not ideal in any case, nevermind when you have a toddler trying to sleep. Although not directly an action of the site, I've been on other sites who would have pitched a larger group like that completely out of the way to not bother anyone or had someone based on site who would have picked up on that and resolved promptly. Everyone's there to have a good time yes, but I doubt even playing dance music in the afternoon would be appreciated by 99% of people on site. This essentially gave me the option of confronting them, which could have gone either way and not ideal for relaxing get away or packing up a day early and coming home, which we did instead. Other than that it was a great site and as stated in the title, just a roll of the dice on who your neighbours are.

Lovely site but needed cleaning! Poor Wi-Fi

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Caravan PitchesMay 2025

Beautiful setting and lovely looking site. Shame the toilets were dirty, no toilet roll and needed cleaning more regularly. Wi-Fi really poor.

Great site but upkeep of facilities very disappointing

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Caravan PitchesMay 2025

Great location, real shame about the upkeep of the facilities. The actual facilities available are good, they seem quite a modern toilet/shower block, good area to wash up, nice play area for kids, but they were filthy and were not a pleasant experience to use. The first day, there was no loo roll in either the men's or ladies' loos. Some loo roll did appear on the second day but it soon ran out again. The floors of the toilet/shower block were disgusting (including mess on the floor of one of the loo cubicles - that was never cleaned up the whole time we were there.) There were bits of toilet paper and other debris on the floors which suggests that for the 4 days we were there, the floors had not been cleaned. The sinks were certainly never cleaned. The bins in the bin area and by the play area were overflowing and the washing up area had clearly not been cleaned for some time either. I tried to give zero stars for cleanliness but it would not let me submit the review with no stars, hence the 1 star for cleanliness. Overall for £70 a night, it was a massive disappointment. A real shame, as with a simple bit of cleaning and upkeep, this would have been a great stay.

Lovely stay, will return

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this campsite. Gorgeous wooded camping area (non-electric), close to the children's play area, so we felt totally safe letting the kids free roam the play park. An ice cream van even came around the campsite one evening which the kids loved. Modern shower and toilet block, and a short drive to a couple of good pubs for food. We've already booked to return in August!

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025

Lovely camping trip with friends, other guests were really friendly. My feedback would be that the showers in the women's block would only stay on for a few seconds before having to press the button again - was annoying but ended up putting my back against the button to keep the shower running. I would also suggest the campsite to empty the bin more frequently as the glass bin was full when we arrived and throughout the weekend, guests would have to line up the bottles next to the bin. We did have a lovely time and we would recommend this campsite.

Lovely holiday park, would go back!

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025

Lovely campsite, very clean facilities and friendly staff. Camping area is close to toilet/shower block, very short walk which is ideal! Overall, we had a lovely stay, the only slight issue we had is our allocated pitch was situated on a slope, not biggie but a little inconvenient.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025

Lovely spacious electric hook up pitch - all pitches are close to the the toilet block, park and shop. They are relatively flat and we could see members of staff maintaining these throughout our stay (cutting grass etc). The toilets/showers were cleaned regularly and had free use of hairdryers! The shop was small but had the essentials you need. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I liked that in the shop you can get printed copies of different walks to do from the site. We did the 2.5 mile trail and 5 mile trail, the directions were really easy to follow and the walks really good. There are a couple of pubs close by, we spent a lot of time walking to the pub in Biggin, other than that I would say if you need a bigger village/town you would need to drive. Great stay! The park maybe needs a sign pointing up the hill to show where the reception is to check in. I had to ask another guest where this was and then somebody else asked me.

Good location

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Caravan PitchesApr 2025

Great location, friendly staff, modern clean shower block. However, as a tourer, I felt I wasn't their target audience, half the tourer area was full of the outdated park homes they were moving off site, which made it feel more like a storage area than a campsite. Several water stand pipes were either switched off or not working, making it a longer walk for water.

Amazing!
