Lovely and peaceful, the site and toilet blocks were very clean and well kept. Nice walks along the canal and the supermarkets etc are just 10 minutes away in the car. Staff very accommodating, I would recommend.

Lovely friendly people. The grounds were incredibly well kept, nice short tidy grass, pitch sizes are good and roomy. The facilities w/c, showers and washing up area are conveniently located in the centre of the campsite and waste water and chemical toilet disposal areas not too far away, and kept very clean and tidy. We had a lovely stay, nice for children to run about and play, dog friendly.

Very friendly and clean toilets. Made us feel welcome, only down side is that it's on the flight path for East Midlands Airport. Field good, short grass, every pitch has its own E/hook up and water.
Beautiful campsite

Lovely welcome when we arrived in our motorhome. The site was not very busy so we were told we could choose our pitch. We had booked a fully serviced pitch. Beautiful outlook, large pitches and the sun shone. The shower and washing up facilities were spotless and credit to the guys/gals in charge. We had a lovely stay and even contemplated staying another night, but we had already booked our next stop (if we had known what was coming we would have stayed where we were). There is a pub in the local village but unfortunately, the night we walked down, there was a private function on. We did walk to the Mercia Marina along the towpath of the canal, which is worth a visit, lovely shops and an ace tea room. It is quite a walk though. We guessed it was about 4 miles each way - but it was a lovely day and the canal was really peaceful. Would stay again!

Just spent 2 nights here and we really enjoyed it. Weather helped 😆 pod was comfy had most things you needed for a comfy stay. Shower and toilet facilities were very good. Lovely setting just on the flight path for East Midlands but didn't really bother us. Lovely family run site who saved my bacon as I forgot my phone charger (thanks again). Will deffo return. Thanks for a lovely stay.😀
