About the site

Nestled within the quaint village of Stanton by Dale, just five minutes from junction 25 on M1, Ian and Sue look forward to welcoming you to their small yet idyllic camping spot at the rear of their very own Chequers Inn pub. There is one all weather grass pitch which allows tents only. There are then another five all weather hardstanding pitches for tourers, each of which is 11m square. All pitches include 16 amp electric hook up and have their own picnic benches. Although easy to access from the M1, the pub also includes access to lots of green footpaths, a golf course just 20 minutes walk away and the Attenborough Nature Centre within a short drive. Catering for adults only and suitable for tents and tourers, choose from a select range of electric all weather pitches. Pitches also feature a grassed area with private picnic table. All bookings for food at the Chequers Inn must be made in advance along with your choice of food no later than mid day of the evening you wish to eat Dogs are welcome both on the site and in the pub at no additional cost.
