Located within pretty Lincolnshire Wolds countryside, the Three Horseshoes pub and campsite is a fabulous place to stay, especially for those looking for a pub nearby. The pub has an excellent reputation for good food and drink with a friendly atmosphere. You can stay on camping and touring pitches or take it easy and go glamping in a shepherd's hut or a range of cosy pods and even luxury ensuite lodge pods.

We chose The Three Horse Shoes for our maiden journey in our new (to us) motorhome. As novice motorhomers, we had so many questions - we needn't have worried, though, everyone we met (staff and other campers alike) were so helpful and friendly. The pub has a lovely atmosphere, is completely dog friendly (all the staff seem to love dogs) and the food and beer is excellent. We'll definitely be returning when we need a cheeky couple of days away without travelling too far from home.

our stay at Three horseshoes was amazing, easy to find, met on arrival by very friendly owner Ian, shown round the facilities and especially liked the self serve bar. The pod itself was clean and tidy, had everything we needed and more, he beds were comfy, heated pod and underfloor heating, the bathroom was excellent with hit shower, located right next to the outdoor kitchen in a calm, quiet and tranquil setting. The food at the pub was spot on and the bar was a treat. Really great location and was a fab few nights away. couldn't ask for a better stay.

Really enjoyed my stay, it was first weekend they opened this year and everyone was keen to iron out difficulties as they arose. Wonderful rural location and a dawn chorus like no other. Only food at the pub this weekend was pizza, but when the pizza is so good - it doesn't matter. Good mix of pitches for tents, campers and glamping pods. Only 4 showers, might get queues in height of season.
Definitely will have another visit

Overall, a really enjoyable stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good in pub nice. Pitch size great. Only recommendation would be to treat the weeds on the pitches and maybe a bit of deep cleaning to the bathrooms, but remember, it is a rural site!

Great little pod with en-suite. Well equipped but could have been cleaned to a higher standard. Balls of dust, pen and shopping receipt behind furniture. Wi-Fi was poor but that was an added bonus as it stopped kids being on phones all the time!

Very good service in the bar and very polite and helpful staff. Only 'glitch' was the toilet rolls and soap dispenser for both toilets near sinks were not replenished in the day on Sunday. Everything else was great., access to drinking water, two well-managed code-accessed showers and excellent location and great food, and breakfast delivered to tent. 👍😀🙃

Ideal for a short break in the peace and quiet. Lovely walks and away from busier tourist areas but just as beautiful.

We only stayed for 1 night and the brief was "basic but comfortable for a reasonable price". I booked a Hully pod for my son and I to get some sleep after plane-spotting at Coningsby and it more than did the job. I was expecting a mattress on the floor and a plug socket for luxury, but we actually had metal framed beds with said mattress and there was lighting too. We were warm, cosy and dry and got a great night's sleep. The toilets and showers were perfectly good - stocked with toilet paper and nice and clean. We were there on a week night when it was very quiet, so didn't use any other facilities or see many people, but we would love to return over a weekend to see what's on offer as it looked great. The glamping pods have their own area with some outdoor games in the middle and the Hully pods were with the camping pitches and really nicely done. Really hope we get to visit again.

I stayed at Three Horseshoes in the Alfie Arch pod with my young son for one night. Everything about the stay was enjoyable. The pod itself was clean and matched the website description exactly. We had food from the pub which was fantastic. Every interaction we had with any staff was friendly and professional, especially the lad who served us in the restaurant. The site itself was peaceful and serene. Will hopefully return many times!

Wonderful place to stay, very clean and friendly. I had a meal at the pub on Saturday with a friend and although it was very busy the food and service was exceptionally good.

Lovely site, the owners and the lady that checks you in were lovely. Pitch was lovely - we had number 19 with a view of the cows!! Campfire friendly is always good too! Shower facilities were good, communal dishes were an idea and the pub was lovely. Only area for improvement would have been a communal fridge for food storage as we are campers without hookup.
Fantastic stay!
