Pentre Du Camping Club is located on a rural, family run farm, ten minutes from Colwyn Bay. Tent campers are welcome on non electric grass pitches, each with a private fire pit. Set in the village of Llysfaen, the site is within a 35 minute walk of a shop, restaurants and a brewery. It is just five minutes to the A55, with Rhos-on-Sea Beach, Welsh Mountain Zoo and National Trust - Bodnant Garden all within 20 minutes. Dogs are welcome too!

Just what a campsite should be. We arrived and were immediately greeted by our host. Steve took the time to explain the layout, rules and amenities within very quick time. Then a brief lay of the land and some local walks pointed out and we were invited to choose our plot. Each plot is very tastefully marked by a stone circle, which doubles as the evening fire pit. The entire site is surrounded by trees and high hedges providing shelter from the wind. The showers were warm, ample washing up stations and drinking water taps dotted around. A true little gem. Thanks Pentre Du, we will be telling our friends about your site.

Greeted on check-in with the friendliest welcome from the owners, detailing the site and some local walks - my wife and I loved our stay at Pentre Du Camping Club. The toilets and showers were perfectly clean, and we both loved the idea of the fire pits by each pitch. The morning option to buy a bacon bun on site was also very much appreciated! We love visiting Wales and would definitely come back the next time we want to visit the area

This campsite was perfect for a quick, spontaneous stay with lovely, well-kept, warm, facilities and spacious pitches. We had a fire pit on the pitch and a fire wood basket could be bought for £12. The location is perfect for a remote stay to relax and have peace & quiet. Lots of wildlife around, and a lovely sunset view. The nearest pub, shop, & takeaway are all within a 40 minute walk, with the nearest beach a lot further. We enjoyed it a lot!

Had a lovely 3 nights here, quiet and spacious, nice scenery, owners of the land are very friendly and helpful. They do breakfast for guests each morning if you don't feel like getting the camp stove on. Ideal location close to shop and restaurants. Toilets and showers on site. Not overcrowded, ideal if you fancy some peace for few days. First time camping for us and a shock as I thought I'd not like it. I loved it, kids loved it too. Our pitch was like a sun trap, gorgeous all day, we feel revived :-)
