Absolutely beautiful, clean site. Hosts were pleasant and helped us with anything we needed. Downfall was nothing in walking distance, no park for children, beach over an hour walk and right next to an extremely busy road day and night. Can't fault the host, however we personally wouldn't stay again.
Great location, clean, peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay at Rainbolts Hill Farm, perfect location for visiting the local area. It was fairly quiet when we were there over the May Day bank holiday weekend. The local pub (Victoria Inn) 15 minute walk away, was great; friendly, welcoming staff and fabulous food, they have their own micro-brewery too! We cycled to the beach at Newgale, although a hilly ride, it only took 20 minutes. The facilities at Rainbolts Hill Farm all looked new and were spotlessly clean, the shop was well stocked, coffee was very good and the owners were lovely. Would definitely recommend.

When we arrived, the wind had just started blowing but to be honest, the site was very open. When we decided to go to bed, the road, even though it was 200m away, was very noisy you could hear the traffic all night. Can't blame the site for this as wind was in the wrong direction and blowing from the road. The toilets are extremely clean and well maintained.

We chose to use the field to camp in so we could use our awning and had a pleasant view of the Roch castle. In hindsight, using the hardstanding area would have allowed us a lovely view of the sea, but then no awning. We camped over 4 days as it was a great central point for using the shuttle bus to visit all the other areas and not worry about parking and driving. We arrived on a Friday and left on the Tuesday morning, there was only around 6 to 8 other vans and tents using the facilities, so perhaps that is why we saw no cleaning occur until the Monday evening just before we were leaving and certainly it never became unmanageable, but that is our one complaint. Otherwise, a perfect site. We highly rate the local pub Victoria Inn where we enjoyed a great Sunday dinner.

This campsite is 5 stars all round 👍🏻 It had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean, value for money too. Would visit again and would recommend.

Lovely site with nice views and sunsets, close to beaches and nice walks from the site. Not too busy considering it was a bank holiday weekend. Only a few showers and two toilets each, so it got busy in the mornings but not a big issue. A good shop with essentials, and Paul in the shop was very friendly and made our stay enjoyable. :)

Overall, good campsite in a good location close to the beaches. The positioning of the payment machines for the showers was somewhat awkward, as you have to come out to put money in if you would like a longer shower. The showers also needed a better clean as there was mould on the tiles and shower curtain.

Paul, who was working in the office was helpful and informative. He was welcoming and supportive. Very friendly and a real asset to the site. The site is split into two fields. We were at the top. During our stay we experienced thunderstorms and strong winds. If we were to return we'd book a place in the bottom field, closer to the amenities and a little more sheltered. We hired a fire pit, which came with logs and firefighters. It was £15, which was a little pricey. The Wi-Fi wasn't great, but if you sat at the bottom it improved. The facilities were immaculate. However, for such a busy site, two showers and two toilets for men and women was a struggle, often having to wait to use the shower. The washing machine and drier worked well, but only one of each. We really enjoyed our stay, even though we had a real mix of weather conditions. The site is well-situated, a stone's throw to Newgale beach, Haverfordwest, St David's and only 40 mins to Tenby. The site was quiet and those staying there were considerate to their neighbours, no loud music or disturbances, bliss! The site would suit all ages.

Lovely two night stay at this site. Very welcoming, and helpful staff. Great location to jump onto the coastal path for a walk. The site was small and clean which made it very relaxing.

The site is good with clean facilities. Just remember to have cash to pay for showers and washing machines. Facilities were clean and okay but if the site was busier 2 showers would not be enough. Paul was super helpful and couldn't do enough to help and guide us. Lacked a bit of character, but did all you need from a site.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The gentleman who booked us in was friendly and helpful. There are 2 showers each for men and women. This is not enough for the size of the campsite! Also, when I went to shower, the water was lukewarm and there was hair on floor and on parts of the wall of shower, you then have to pay for the use of it! We will not return.
One of the best site's we've visited

We really enjoyed our stay at Rainbolts. The facilities were first class and clean. There was a very useful shop and it was good to have someone to ask about things for most of the day. Our pitch was perfect. The pitches were carefully marked out so no encroaching on anyone else's space. We were very close to a cold water tap and to the showers etc. The bin area was very well organised and clean. The field we were in was huge, with enough room for our dogs to run about and chase a ball and the children staying there to play cricket and football etc. We will definitely return at some point.
Nice, clean site, right by the main road

Nice campsite - not that big. Spotlessly clean and a very nice man on reception in the shop. Walk to a little lake and small dog walk area. Little shop on site. Right by a main road so was a certain noise level. Busy site with lots of children enjoying themselves, so not for those who want a quiet secluded place. Just 5 mins drive to the fabulous Newgale beach.

Nice site next to main road, just up from the lovely Newgale beach. Was very quiet when we went, small shop on site, very clean toilets and showers, free Internet too. Victoria Inn serves a limited, but very good menu, the portions are massive but it's not cheap. A lack of security on site and being easily accessible, and paying for showers, are the only minuses. Nothing on site for kids.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We wanted to be close to St.Davids so we could explore the area and this campsite ticked all the boxes. A lovely quiet site with friendly staff - Paul was especially lovely who works in the shop. The site was set out very nicely and had stunning views. The Victoria Inn pub was only a 2 minute drive away and served lovely food! Log fires are available to purchase for in the evenings. We’ll definitely be back!
