Somers Wood Caravan Park is an adult-only touring site set in mature woodlands, just ten minutes from Birmingham NEC. Trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans are welcome across a range of spacious electric and fully serviced pitches, with extra large areas for RVs. Conveniently located near the A45, the site is well connected for exploring. Next door, there is also a fishery and golf courses, with access to modern onsite facilities!

About the site

Catering for adults only, this spacious park offers 5 star facilities within easy reach of the A45 and Birmingham. The grounds are part of the Forest of Arden, providing shade and a relaxing base for exploring! Pitches are spacious and all on hardstanding, accommodating touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans and trailer tents. Every pitch has a metered 10 amp electric hook up connection and space for an awning, allowing up to four guests each. Many also feature a grassed area alongside, with WiFi and digital TV reception across the park. There are 19 fully serviced pitches which include a freshwater tap and grey waste drain for your convenience. Four extra large pitches can also accommodate RVs and fifth-wheel trailers up to 12m in length. Pitches have a firm base of stone chippings, allowing awning rock pegs to be hammered in easily. The site is located just five minutes from the NEC, making it a perfect base for visiting one of the centre's 180 shows and events each year. Evenings can also be spent cooking up a tasty BBQ, as long as it is raised off the ground. Please note, campfires are prohibited. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome, with up to three dogs allowed per pitch.

Facilities include a heated shower block with free hot showers, private wash cubicles, toilets, wash basins, hair dryers and shaver points. There is a separate wheelchair accessible shower and washroom, a laundry, an undercover dishwashing area, an information and library cabin, plus WiFi. Guests can purchase toilet chemicals from reception.

If heading offsite, Meriden is a 25 minute walk away with The Strawberry Bank Pub, the Bulls Head Meriden Coventry, Budgens and Co-op. Next door, there is also Packington Somers Fishery, Stonebridge Golf Club and North Warwickshire Golf Club.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (8m)Oct 2025

This was our first time camping with our new GoPod caravan and we were a little apprehensive about what we were getting ourselves into. However if all the sites are like Somers Wood then we won't have any problems - Set in a wooded area this site is well cared for. It's clean, tidy and well lit. Plenty of water and waste points and the real surprise was the toilets and showers, cleaned regularly and spotless and hot! Reception were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.
