Small Tent - Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 Great site for our little cycle adventure, friendly welcome to site, nice that you can have open fires, you can buy logs from farm house.
Great the field area is free from motor vehicles. Making it safe for kids to run around. Facilities are good yet basic, and are clean.

The hosts were lovely, toilets/showers clean all the time and always fully stocked with toilet roll.
Washing equipment all supplied, close to shop and parks and lovely walks near by.

Large Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Had an amazing weekend great place! Toilet and shower block were always clean and stocked of toilet roll.
Hosts are very helpful in recommending places to walk and local dog friendly places, great value for money! Will deffo be back very soon!
Quiet and tranquil

Lovely walking routes for the dogs. Be aware, no cars allowed on camping field but there is a wheelbarrow provided. No problem in dry weather and added to the tranquillity.
The toilet block and shower were kept very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Small Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Just texted the number to say arrived. Pitched tent where we wanted. Toilets clean, nice smelling hand wash.
Can't comment on the shower as didn't use it. Washing up station is nice. Generally everyone followed the rules with no noise after a certain time. Would stay again, this time with a fire pit to use.

Large Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Even from before we arrived, Alicia was so accommodating.
I had a bug, so asked to delay for a day and she still allowed us to have the three full days we had booked. The site was easy to find, welcoming, spacious and clean. Facilities were great, no complaints at all. Even being able to contact Alicia on the ring doorbell was so accommodating. From speaking to others who were camping, Yew Tree have great values in creating a memorable experience for visitors. Thanks so much again

Great campsite with all the necessary amenities
Large Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2024 Really nice site that feels remote but is actually very close to a nearby town with pubs, shops, etc.
Lots of space to pitch so you can have your own space away from others and lots of picnic tables and fire pits already available to set up next to, as well as wood available from the hosts.
Toilets are clean and get the job done, and there's a proper washing up station just outside them which is very useful. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and booking was very straight forward for a relatively big group of 8 people. No issues with noise or anything else. Dogs allowed for £1 a night and we had our gazebo for free.
Would happily camp here again.

Wonderful campsite for tents
Small Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Wonderfully peaceful campsite nestled in a beautiful quiet part of Derbyshire/neighbouring Notts. Easily accessible with amenities I do not expect… hot shower, hot washing up facilities, proper toilets.
Super friendly greeting and fellow campers were friendly. Local shops just up the road. Lovely pub and restaurant just a walk away worth a look into.
Ideally located to access the Peak District. All this with a very affordable rate. My son loved his first experience of camping.

Back to basics, lovely
Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely campsite if you want back to basics in the middle of a field and pretty quiet. Was lovely just having a campfire, little bbq and quality time with my daughter. Good facilities, clean and tidy. Definitely go again when I need a reset.

Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 The site was as expected from the website information. The staff were very helpful, facilities were adequate, it was nice to be able to have an open fire, individual camping areas were well separated, we will definitely revisit.

Large Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2024 Me and my partner stayed at yew tree farm just for one night but it was lovely.
Nice spot in a good location only 15min walk to the greyhound pub where we had a lovely meal. Met some nice people there too and just sat chatting around a campfire. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon!

Small Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2024 Lovely site, took my 10 year old son, first time camping with a campfire, he absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. Will definitely be going to Yew Tree Farm again!
Peaceful retreat

We charged our batteries up again, which is solely what we wanted to achieve. The lady running it was lovely.
Perfect solo trip
Medium Tent - Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2024 This was my first solo camping trip and it did not disappoint!
I had plenty of space to myself as the pitches are really spread out. I pitched myself on the edge of the field so I was looking out onto surrounding greenery, it was beautiful. The toilet block and shower were really clean and better than basic and I never had to wait for the shower.
I loved the fact there were no cars on the field, there is a wheelbarrow available for taking your stuff to your pitch. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend and the perfect place for a solo trip, would love to come back again.
