About the site
If you're looking for a peaceful, off-grid getaway with plenty of walking routes nearby, this is just the ticket. Set within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site enjoys glorious views across the surrounding countryside, great for watching the sunset.
With over 12 acres of grassy meadow to choose from, you're free to pitch your tent wherever you please. Grass pitches are non electric and can accommodate a maximum of three tents with 12 guests.
If glamping is more your style, book one of the three luxury bell tents, furnished with a cosy double bed, chairs, rugs, hanging rail, mirror and bohemian touches. Bed linen, crockery, cutlery and a firepit/BBQ are all included in the price.
Please note that the bell tents sleep a maximum of two, so families or groups are advised to book multiple tents in advance if necessary.
Sustainability is a huge focus for this site so expect eco-friendly facilities, off-grid camping (no WiFi or electricity) and an abundance of nature on your doorstep.
Fire pits are provided to all guests free of charge and logs can be purchased onsite, so be sure to bring along the marshmallows. Dogs are very welcome but must be kept on leads at all times.

A note from the site themselves...
At our campsite, we're all about keeping things green and friendly to our planet. Sustainability is a big deal for us.
We're all about recycling here. You'll find us sorting through waste to make sure we're doing our bit for the environment. But it's not just about waste. We're always working on making the site better for wildlife. Think owl and bat boxes and magical woodland boundaries.
We are also always happy to hear new suggestions on how we can be even better for the planet. We hope to welcome you soon, Maria and Raf
Small Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024
I had a really good time at the camp ⛺️
Raf and Maria are amazing people with a very good eye for details. You can purchase wood logs to set fires at night, and you can have a BBQ. It was a very special place, so even when the parking lot was full, it didn't feel crowded at all.
Very beautiful sunset 🌅 overlooking the valley. The place is very clean and organised. You got several composting toilets in the place and even got hot showers. The place has an amazing atmosphere and really nice views.
I like to cycle on the road and you have some very nice routes around. Hastings is only 1:30 on the bike or 30 minutes by car. Maria even let me stay a few more hours, just so my tent would dry from the rain that we had last night.
I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back next time I want to get away for a few days from the city. Thank you very much Raf and Maria❤️
Peaceful weekend away

Brilliant campsite with toilets, hot showers and bucket showers in different areas of the site, and not forgetting to add that this is a dog friendly campsite!
