A note from the site themselves...

I bought the site in January 2025, having viewed it once the previous month. I fell in love with the place. In only four months, Wood Farm has become part of who I am. Every morning is different, and every sunrise and sunset is different, too.

This part of the world is well kept secret, but one that is well worth discovering. A place that naturally destresses you. Sunrises like a film set, sunsets bursting with colour, kingfishers darting over the lake, deer and rabbits bounding through the fields, a good pub over the road, and your dog will love it too, what else could you want?

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesMay 2025

A lovely place! The owners were so nice, made sure everything was okay a couple times, even brought us some cucumber & bacon when all the shops were shut on a Sunday! Can rent out a fire pit for £10 + bag of wood for £5, which is really reasonable. Facilities were great, clean toilet, shower & kitchen - fridge, kettle & microwave for everyone to use. Lots of fish swimming in the pond so great place for finishing, especially that it's free. Skegness is about half an hour drive away so can easily spend the whole day there too. Overall great place! Would 100% come again if we were to go camping in Lincolnshire again. Only thing for owners - would recommend to get a sign where the turn is to get into the campsite as it's not very obvious that there's a road there, unless you're looking online at the map. Also might warn other drivers that there might be cars pulling out & to slow down cause it's hard to come out as it's on a bend, so you can't see the cars coming & they go quite fast.

Lovely, family run campsite on a beautiful fishing lake

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass and Gravel Touring PitchesMay 2025

This is a lovely, small campsite with about 15 pitches (however they are planning to extend), all pitches surround a fishing lake. The rural location is peaceful and not far from local amenities and the east coast. The shower/toilet facilities are minimal, however we didn't have to wait to use them and they were always very clean. There is a small kitchen with a washing up sink, kettle and communal fridge, again always very clean and complimentary tea available which was a nice touch. The site is family run and the owners will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and cater to your needs. Due to the fishing lake location, this site may not be suitable for families with small children.

Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesMay 2025

As first time campers it really couldn't have been a better place for us. Myself, my husband and our 12 year old son couldn't fault it. Location was fantastic and the fact the noise has be down by 10pm was a winner. The lady who owns the site was extremely accommodating. She came and said hi, we had a little chit chat and was pretty much left it to it for the evening. Overall 10/10! We most definitely will be back. Also, the complementary tea and coffee was much appreciated, thank you 😊
