Relaxing weekend

Just spend the weekend here and it was so relaxing! Would definitely be back, owners were lovely and so easy to contact, brilliant service.

Ladies treat

Great wee weekend, nice and quiet and hot tub was good. Maybe a little too much chlorine but that's all. Will definitely be back.

Amazing time away

We really enjoyed our two nights away here. Loved the pod, it was so comfortable and cosy. Plenty to keep kids busy if we brought them as well. The area is so peaceful. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves as the roost pod wasn't occupied. One of the nicest birthdays I've had, the perfect place to switch off and leave the real world for a while. Thank you.

Our stay

Good price for this pod. 2 days of holidays is enough to spend a good time and to rest. The area was clean and tidy. I am happy back there and have recommended this place to my friends.

Great

This place was very nice and especially the hot tub was fun.

Good stay overall, however could have been cleaner

Some crumbs under the bed when we arrived and the fridge, kettle and windows had greasy marks on them. Some glasses had water at the bottom too. Other than that we had a great stay!

Peaceful weekend away

Overall it's what you would expect from glamping. The location is at a quiet remote area, very peaceful & calm. The facilities are good, bathroom,kitchen, fridge, utensils, etc are provided as well as a BBQ & fire pit outside. Cleanliness is questionable though I myself have a pretty high standard, it's what you would expect I guess as it is glamping. There were areas in the pod that can do with more cleaning and there were stains on the sofa beds, etc which is a bit off putting but we did say we will return some day.

Sub-par stay

Lovely location & pod layout. However, there were a few disappointing factors to do with the cleanliness of the pod. Overall the pod was poorly cleaned including the shower & windows being dirty, we found a used plaster at the hot tub on arrival as well as the hot tub itself not being the cleanest. There was also old food found behind the bin, under the sink, which was also disappointing. Overall it was a good stay but the general cleanliness let it down.

We do aim for the highest standards of cleanliness so this is a surprise and something we need to review. I can assure you that, in compliance with the legislation, the hot tub was emptied, cleaned, and refilled, immediately prior to your visit. As we do for all guests. In any business, mistakes can occasionally occur, and we normally seek to respond to any issues as soon as possible. As you didn't raise any concerns with us when you arrived, or at any point during or after your stay, we were unfortunately not given the opportunity to rectify anything that had been missed.

Great stay

Great location, pods well equipped and enclosed garden perfect for dogs and kids alike.

A lovely and peaceful stay

We stayed in the pod with my husband and our son, his wife and their 1-year-old son. It was perfect. We had a barbecue (provided on-site) and we even had an archery contest! The jacuzzi was great to relax in the evening.

West Auchenean

My only complaint was there was food left in the fridge from previous guests.

Great place to stay

Could not find a fault with anything, apart from not staying longer. Great location and 10 minutes from large or 2 minutes from Lochwinnoch. Will definitely be returning soon.

Brilliant stay

Had a great wee stay this weekend. Ideal for a relaxing stay away from people, yet not too far if you wanted to go a wonder into Largs etc. Would defo recommend and stay again :-)

Peaceful break

Myself and my two boys stayed in the Roost pod. Inside the pod is bigger than I'd imagine which was good. Very clean inside and had everything you need for a short or long stay. Beds were very comfy. Hot tub was excellent. Perfect break away for folk who just want that peaceful and relaxing stay. Will definitely be returning in near future.

Great pods

Lovely pods. The best we have stayed in. Very much enjoyed our long weekend here.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful cabin with a view of the beautiful fields and loads of scenery walks to go on. So quiet around and no noise making it a really chilled out stay.

Fantastic pod, was bigger than expected and we had a great weekend.

Relaxing weekend

My girlfriend and I had a lovely couple of days, we weren't lucky with the weather but still made the most of it. I feel a 4pm is a late check in, especially when check out is 10am, feel like I'm paying full price for half a day really. Our wifi didn't work at all the couple nights we were there but apart from that the location is ideal for walks and trips into town. Hot tub was good and the pod was very spacious and clean.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay, even with the less than perfect weather. Sorry to hear about the WIFI issue though. We are on site and would have been happy to fix that if you had called or messaged. I appreciate your comment about check-in and check-out times but on same day changeovers, the time is needed to deep clean and prepare the hot tub and pod between guests. When we don't have a same day changeover then we do try to be flexible and offer earlier/later times if possible, although the hot tub might not be back up to full temperature. These are agreed nearer the booking date, depending on changeover schedules. If you return, please do ask and we can try to accommodate requests.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful weekend in Barbara's pod. The pod was very clean, very cosy, very well equipped and the hot tub was already on when we arrived. We had a nice walk around the loch and enjoyed this weekend so much (without kids 😁!) Thank you 🙏

The Den

Amazing getaway! My partner, dog and I throughly enjoyed our stay at ‘The Den’, could not recommend this location enough! And such a lovely welcome from the owners!!

Very nice

A little isolated, but the pods were lovely and it was really quiet. The hot tub took a while to warm up after 1st use, but was brilliant.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at the Den. The Pod was very clean, well equipped, warm, cosy and really spacious for a family of 4, plus a dog. The hot tub experience was just fantastic, especially that the temperature outside was below 0. Location was also great with beautiful views and close to shops and restaurants.
