Good week
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 This is a nice site, backed with well-maintained showers and toilets.
The shop is small, but has the basics. The site was busy being what appears to be a central point for school kids doing Duke of Edinburgh and other similar activities. The school kids can be noisy at acceptable times, but are quiet at the appropriate times so don't let this put you off. Games room for older kids and a small area for younger ones.
This is a good spot with Stanton Moor above it, surrounded by loads of walks and visitor points like the Blue John and lead mines.Good pub food in the village and multiple alternative pubs within a short drive.
Staff were happy to answer questions and polite. The caravan pitches drop quite a lot at the back and at the sides, so be prepared to do quite a bit of levelling and don't be scared to ask for bricks.
Despite some rain every day, we had a good week.

Group camp
Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Jul 2023 Fabulous campsite that was ideal for a large group with loads of kids. Great facilities including powerful hot showers, a lovely playgroup and other activites for children, and all the animals; set in gorgeous countryside. We couldn't have asked for more to make the weekend perfect. Will definitely be back again!
Great family stay
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2023 Great stay at Barn Farm. The facilities are great, very clean and well kept, great for kids with the park and games. The location is brilliant, so close to the village with two lovely pubs and great walks. Had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2023 We had the most wonderful few days at Barn Farm this week, so friendly, everything was so clean and well organised.
We return each year as we all love it! Such a lovely area too.
Fantastic site
Large Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Jul 2023 Fantastic site, clean showers, beautiful setting & friendly staff. Shop on site for essentials, we went to the family weekend, the kids absolutely loved the day. This is our second visit & we are planning on coming here yearly with the kids as it's safe for them to run around and play in the playground and make friends with other families.

Fun weekend
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Jun 2023 We took our grandson here as his first taste of camping and he loved it. It was an ideal introduction for him and he had loads of fun with all the fun day activities.
We will be back!
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jun 2023 Lovely quiet spot with great views, plenty of walks on the doorstep including the intriguing and fun Rowtor Rocks out the back of the Druid Inn in the village.
Spacious pitches in the campervan/caravan areas and amenities close by. Adult only shower block is a great idea and the play area/games room makes it up to the younger guests.
Can't write a review and not mention the peacocks peacocking everywhere!
Peace and quiet
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 Not our first stay here, but such a marvellous location and with all the facilities you need! Be aware the (well stocked and good priced) shop doesn’t open on a Sunday, but otherwise it’s such a scenic place to rest and relax - and the local pub isn’t too far to walk either. Will be back again.
