About the site
Hadspen Glamping is a picturesque retreat located in the heart of nature. Situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by trees and wildlife, the three safari tents offer guests a unique experience for those who seek adventure and relaxation at the same time. Each tent has been individually designed to a high standard, and modern comforts abound. This is glamorous camping in every sense of the word. There are three beautifully furnished canvas lodges to choose from, Horsecombe, Lime Kiln and Grisway. Horsecombe sleeps up to two adults and two children in double and bunk bedrooms, Lime Kiln sleeps up to five in a double room and a double bunk room, and Grisway sleeps a maximum of seven across three bedrooms, two double rooms and a double bunk room. All the lodges have wood fired hot tubs. For something a bit different, try the Horsecombe with a copper bath hot tub! All of them boast a spacious interior thoughtfully designed, with fully equipped kitchens, dining tables and lounge areas as well as a wood-burning stove and log burner. They also all have ensuites with toilets, showers and sinks. You'll have your own spacious veranda with outdoor seating and a BBQ. Each of the accommodations comes with a luxury welcome pack and guidebook to the local area, and there is the option to book extras such as BBQ Hamper, Breakfast Hamper, Deli Hamper, etc. Completely unwind onsite or explore the nearby National Trust properties, including Stourhead and Cheddar Gorge. The Newt in Somerset, set on the grounds of Hadspen House, is next door, perfect for a day out, complete with the Roman Villa, farm shop, museum and gardens. Art Gallery Hauser and Wirth are well worth a visit, as are the historic towns of Bath, Wells and Glastonbury, or for a bit of retail therapy, Clarks Shopping Village is only 20 minutes away. If you're looking for a unique outdoor experience combining luxury with nature, look no further. You will disconnect from the digital world, reconnect with nature and unwind, taking in the fresh air and sounds of the countryside. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed onsite.
