Cottage of Content Pub Camping and Caravan is a family and dog friendly site located in the quaint village of Barton. With the River Avon running close to the site, guests can enjoy riverside walks or even a spot of fishing before heading to the onsite pub for a refreshing pint or tasty bite to eat! There are a range of grass pitches available with and without electric hook up which are suitable for tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans.

Great little site with a good old fashioned country pub , good food and just a short walk along the river to the town. Everyone on site and the staff were very friendly and made a fuss of dog Rossi. As this site is only a 45 minute drive for us i think it is going to be our go to site for a quick getaway trip as it is with a few other campers we were talking too.

Very busy but spacious on site pub with lovely food good portion sizes friendly Atmosphere live music on the Saturday evening Only down fall was the showers only one for female & one for male But will be returning

We used this campsite purely as a stop over and as we are in our motorhome did not need to use the facilities. We did have a drink in the lovely pub where the publican was very friendly & welcoming. It was a nice, quiet and clean site and would use again for a stop over.

Only stayed 1 night. Easy to find and had a lovely quiet, sunny, fully serviced pitch. There were only 3 other campers on site while we were there, so nice and quiet. Food in pub was good and reasonably priced. We had a lovely curry and scampi - lots of it! There is a pleasant, flat 1km walk to Bidford on Avon. Our only criticism was that there is just 1 female and 1 male toilet and shower, which wasn't an issue when we stayed as it was quiet, but if you stayed at a busy time this could cause problems. The male toilet had not been cleaned and the ladies was ok but had no toilet paper. Overall, I would recommend, especially for a mid week stay.

Nice site with friendly staff. The site was clean, traditional village pub with very nice food. Facilities are a bit limited, with only one toilet and shower for men, and the same for ladies.

Ignore all reviews prior to October 2024 as this site has new management and they are fantastic. They will go to great lengths to ensure you have a good stay. Great field with loads of space between pitches. Spent an evening in the pub with friendly customers and hosts.
