Hill House Certificated Location Reviews

Enjoy a peaceful stay at Hill House Certificated Location, located five minutes from Mappleton Beach and 25 minutes from Hull. The small, CAMC adult and members only touring park is home to five grass and hardstanding pitches, each with 16 amp electric, a water tap and WiFi. There are modern washrooms and a field area for dogs to stretch their legs. A scenic five minute walk will lead you to the local pub, with Hornsea a five minute drive away!

Short stay to explore the local area and enjoy the mild weather. We stayed here for three nights. We thought the facilities were outstanding. For a small certified site there were 3 shower/toilet/wash basin enclosed compartments one of which being separate meant that we had our own bathroom with plenty of hot water! The site was well maintained and the grass cut to an acceptable height. Security was good. The location was excellent for walking (to the pub) and cycling being near to a long distance off road cycle path. We also visited the beach 2 miles away and Burton Constable Hall (well worth a visit). Hull is a short drive away there being a decent sized supermarket en route. Traffic noise was non existent.

Hill House was perfectly peaceful, with spotlessly clean facilities available, two seperate bathroom cubicles and kitchen facility..There was even a washing machine available to use if needed. The host was welcoming and informative of the local area and communication was great. Nice hardstanding and grass pitches. Ideally located for little trips out to the beach (2-4 mile drive) Very dog friendly, with nice walks from the camp site.

A beautiful weekend stay here at Hill House. Our first time visiting this site and it certainly won't be the last. Great individual pitches (hard standing), toilet facilities immaculate. Owners full of information for us and couldn't be more welcoming. Chris & Claire
