Lovely, clean site

We stayed one night at this site. It was lovely. Good clean facilities. Great that we could have a campfire. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Good

Good location and good for kids.

Overpriced

Definitely overpriced. Avoid pitches 36 and 35 Rose, located by the blueberries and electric wires overhead - starlings leaving a mess every day. My husband spent around 2 hours a day cleaning up the tent. These pitches should be discounted or be out of use. Reported to the staff, they didn't help at all, very disappointed. Toilets don't flush properly, very old. Lack of number of showers if you consider the number of visiting people. We are not sure if it's in the campsite rules, but we were told when we arrived that we must come back to the site at 9:30pm as there will be no entrance open, very strange. Animal farm felt very poorly maintained. I think there could be more effort put in to promote the wild life and organize the surroundings. Apart from the negatives, it was very quiet, lots of space on the pitches. Nice herb garden, my boys really enjoyed visiting the guinea pigs.

Thank you for leaving this review. We don't normally respond but felt that we had to respond to some inaccuracies. We cannot control Starlings and where they choose to sit as we explained, we don't know what you expected us to do about them they are wild birds and unfortunately decided to perch where they did. The toilets are not 'very old' - they had an extensive refurb last winter so are actually new. There is absolutely no rule on returning by 9.30pm. We think you have got confused with check in times, the latest being 9.30pm. We do promote the wildlife in a big way. You would have walked through our no mow meadow to get to the animal area in which we have lots of cards telling you which flowers are which. In the animal area itself, we have a large fenced off area that is left to go wild again with signs explaining why its all been left to grow. We are pleased you found the pitches to be quiet and with lots of room, and your boys enjoyed holding our guinea pigs.

Good

Good campsite. Shower and toilet block were nice, we appreciated free warm showers and hairdryer. Would have appreciated a way to charge phones as we were backpacking.

Good site

Having the usual delays due to traffic and then getting lost, it was a relief to be let on site at such a late hour. The warden was very gracious and had every right to refuse entry at 10.30pm. However, we were allowed to pull our van into a pitch and park up. Good facilities and very well kept. We only spent the one night but I would use again.

Amazing family site

Such a lovely friendly campsite, love that they have little extras like the fridges, toaster, microwaves and washing machines/dryers, also that the hair-dryer in the toilets/showers are free to use. Handy little shop on site too and everyone's friendly and helpful.

Perfect stay

Perfect stay for my sister and I to catch up. Lovely site well-located for local beaches. Quiet and well spaced out pitches. Showers were hot and mostly clean - the site was full. Friendly welcome and check in.

Fantastic Campsite

Great campsite. Facilities excellent. Pizza van three times a week, crepe van once a week and coffee van every morning. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay

Had an absolutely lovely stay for a night, first time here, very clean and beautiful campsite. Perfect for a quiet weekend...lovely friendly staff happy to help. A 20 minute walk to Perranporth beach and shops. Brilliant location, will definitely be back. :)

Lovely site

Amazing site, such friendly staff, the facilities were lovely and the location is perfect. Onsite is a coffee van that serves amazing coffee in the morning too, and other food vans including fish and chips and pizza come on some nights.

Good location

Lovely campsite. More holiday park than campsite, but a beautiful spot with a gorgeous walk over the dunes onto the sands. Staff were really friendly and the facilities were great.

Ourselves, our grandchildren and dog enjoyed it! Booking again for next year!

Can't wait to return next year

Had a beautiful, peaceful stay on Perran. The amenities are excellent and spotlessly clean. Had fresh pizza from the onsite food van which was a real treat, already booked to return next year.

Very nice two night stay

Great campsite. The staff is really nice, the facilities are spotless, and with real showers too! We've enjoyed the game field, the animals and the walks to the beach.

Amazing campsite

Thank you for our stay, we absolutely loved it and have rebooked for 4 weeks time. The campsite was very clean, friendly staff, very welcoming.

A lovely campsite with great access to local amenities.

Pricey

Felt it was overpriced for a small tent for a night. Fairly near location, facilities basic but that's all that's needed.

Thank you taking the time to write your review. Unfortunately, the size of then tent does not make a difference with the price, it still takes up one pitch. A bit surprised about the price comment, If you thought we are pricey why book and pay in advance? We are very proud of our reviews and it's hard to read when someone has not had a great time with us. We strive to offer a fantastic experience to all our guests staying with us for the first time or one of our many returning guests and I think it's reflected in our amazing reviews and overall score.

Superb campsite in a great location

We stayed here for 3 nights and apart from the weather, everything was great. I also recommend the coffee!

Helpful wardens, site really well looked after, the Nomadic Coffee people were fantastic! The facilities were clean. The pitches were in great condition. I was solo travelling and felt very safe there.

Best stay ever!

We have had the best stay we could've asked for! Everything was so clean and all the staff were super helpful and friendly! Especially loved the food vans - shout out to the guys on the bagel van!

Peaceful and friendly

On arrival, the greeting was friendly and helpful, found our pitch no problem. At first I thought the site might be noisy as it was fairly busy, but that was far from the case. The animals were interesting, and even saw a wild polecat. Shame about the weather as has little chance to go on any of the dog walks, as the main purpose was to meet up with family. The toilets and showers were spotless as was the rest of the site. Well cared for and would recommend it.
