Family and dog friendly camping and touring site, Pomeroy Caravan Park is in the ideal place for those who love to hike or cycle. There are non electric and electric grass pitches for tents, as well as fully serviced grass and hardstanding pitches for tourers. A peaceful stay in the Peak District on a working dairy farm with cows and goats, the site even produces its own artisan ice cream with a range of flavours for the whole family.

This place started out great and stayed great. There is a milk dispensing machine on site with fresh chilled milk. Either bring your own bottle or get one from the machine. Bring lots of pound coins too for laundry and milk! They have awesome showers that are hot in the morning, but not too hot at night or as multiple people are showering but alas, not a problem. They have a laundry and dish washing room with hot water and multiple sinks. Perfect location for the trail. Bike or hike, it's great. Staff are wonderful and the goats that wander around are pretty friendly. About 10 minutes from Morrison's and about 13 minutes to town. Great spring running in town. Bring a water carrier and fill it up. The water is beautiful. In the words of Arnie, "I'll be back"

Excellent park. Can’t wait to come back. Superb facilities and exceptional cleanliness. Views are just perfect and local pubs too. Amazing walks nearby. 1st class site.

My partner and I went for a last minute weekend away to Pomeroy and it was amazing value for money! A lovely little place with lots to do, friendly staff and great facilities. Highly recommend :)

It cost 17.50-25£ in a taxi depending on how many people there were, to the town centre. They were 9 of us in a group, so it was 25£ for a minibus. Don't buy milk from the shop, they sell fresh milk on site. The showers and toilets were very clean. Would definitely go back.
