Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) May 2023 We had a wonderful stay. Second time here and remain very satisfied.
Great bank holiday weekend!
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) May 2023 We were a group of 3 families that camped in the overflow field. Had a great weekend! Lots for the kids to do, felt very safe for them to have a wonder round. Facilities were great and always clean.
Bonus having some live music on and even better with the sun shining. Will definitely be back.
Brilliant weekend
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) May 2023 We had a brilliant weekend at Barn Farm on May Bank Holiday weekend.
Came with a family group, the campsite was extra busy, but the staff were amazing to accommodate everyone. We never waited a long time for toilets or showers. We had the extra bonus of some bands playing over the weekend, who were really good.
The kids all had a great time.

Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) May 2023 It's the second time we've been to Barn Farm and again, we had a fantastic time!
It would've been even better if we were in the same field as our friends but we were told their field was full when we booked (field 1). Although we arrived on the Friday and there was loads of space. Great place though.
We love it!
Personally, I would prefer not to have the live music as this split our friend group with some wanting to sit and watch and others not, but I love the games, trampoline, bar etc.

Pitches were well spaced and well maintained. Ideal for walking and local bus service.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 Excellent facilities, pleasant staff. Clean and well maintained. Easy walking, access to moor. Bus service to Matlock or Bakewell, in village.
Good pub, 'The Druid' within walking (800 yds) distance. Good food, beer, local cocktails, family and dog friendly, both Staff and locals. Recommend Pie of the Day or daily specials, which include first drink some nights.
Site puts on entertainment and food stalls on certain weekends.

Great site to visit
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 What a site, just what we needed. Right in the countryside, but only 4 miles from Matlock. There are several other places to visit as well.
The site was very clean and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. There are lots of walks from the campsite or bike rides. There are 2 pubs just 5 minutes walk away.
We will be back.
Peace and quiet
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 Not our first stay here, but such a marvellous location and with all the facilities you need! Be aware the (well stocked and good priced) shop doesnât open on a Sunday, but otherwise itâs such a scenic place to rest and relax - and the local pub isnât too far to walk either. Will be back again.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 From the warm welcome to the concern that another (young) group might cause disturbance, the management of our stay was first class. The facilities were kept in top condition all day and were more than adequate for a very comfortable stay. The adults only shower block was a great idea.
The location would be hard to beat and the weather was warm and sunny during our stay. An ideal location for walking Stanton Moor and enjoying the views, ancient monuments, along with the Summer birdlife.
I would thoroughly recommend this campsite.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches May 2023 Grass with electric pitches are distant from toilets, but all facilities good.
Good site for stunning Derbyshire scenery, plus peacocks and alpacas on site.
Good shop on site.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 First time camping and this was our first stop. Great facilities and super clean. Definitely would return if we were ever in the area again.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) May 2023 Staff were really friendly, wasn't expecting the peacocks! A lovely campsite with good shower and toilet facilities.
They also opened the shop on a Saturday when it was really warm.

Fabulous campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 Convenient and very clean and tidy facilities. Very well kept campsite in a beautiful location with friendly staff. Ideal location for visiting Chatsworth too. We have stayed here every year for several years, it is very good value for money.

Lovely stay
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) May 2023 Our second time staying at Barn Farm, absolutely loved it. Itâs always clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful. Will be returning again very soon. Close to lovely walks, nice pubs and the shop on site is very reasonably priced.
Shower block was spotless, toilets always clean.
Couldnât recommend this place enough.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) May 2023 Very well located campsite for local walks and trips to neighbouring towns (Bakewell/Matlock etc). Facilities at the campsite (toilets, showers, shop, games room) are excellent. Onsite car, butty van, pop up pasta kitchen and pancake stall were all really good.
Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Facilities were very clean. Great entertainment for the bank holiday weekend, and a games room and on site food stalls. Would definitely go again!
