Extremely high standard and a fantastic restaurant and spar nearby. It was a very relaxing couple of days for my wife and I.

Caravan break

Beautiful campsite. The toilets and shower were amazing and clean. Lovely people, defo coming back 👍👍

Another great visit

We always make a point of staying there, lovely site with the restaurant, bar and spa to hand. Shower block was very clean, hot water plentiful even when busy. Great, helpful wardens with all the answers, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you, definitely our favourite site.

Our September stay

Very clean and well kept site, good location to visit Prestatyn, Abergele and various places in North Wales. Yes, you can hear traffic as a background noise, but the sheep are louder! Neither bothered us in any way. There was a wedding event on the Saturday night, so we went for a drink in The White House. £5 a pint, so not too bad and enjoyed the atmosphere. Went to bed at 10:30pm as we can't do late ones anymore, and we're never bothered by the party. All in all, I would recommend this place..

5 star site

Amazing campsite, lovely and quiet. Clean shower and toilet block with fab powerful showers. Landscaping is impeccable and the restaurant serves delicious food 😊

Absolutely perfect!!

Firstly a HUGE thank you to Gill and Steve!! We absolutely loved staying here. Originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying 9 nights in total. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Nice, peaceful, clean site. Bonus having electric and water hook up on the pitches. Site has everything you need toilets, showers, laundry, outdoor sink to wash up. We can not wait to come back. Location is ideal as a base for exploring North Wales. Thanks again!! 😊

Site beautifully maintained but felt a little impersonal

Lovely site, clean and beautifully kept. However, we did not see anybody on arrival, which felt a bit impersonal to us. We did later meet the warden who was lovely. No shop. Restaurant and spa lovely, but very expensive. Spa was £20 per person for 2 hours. Restaurant great, but food a little too fancy - fantastic produce would have been nicer, in my opinion, served classically.

Relaxing, quiet site

The site is excellently maintained and spotlessly clean. The site spa and facilities we didn't use but always looked busy so that says it all. It is a little bit in middle of nowhere so great for relaxing and unwinding. It has easy access to the main road to allow day trips out in car to various places.

Highly recommend

Stayed 2 nights, highly recommended as it was quiet and clean. The restaurant was fabulous, we had dinner one night in it and it was beautiful.

One of the best sites we have stayed at

We have nothing negative to say about this site. We stayed at one of the tent pitches and was impressed as soon as we drove in. The wardens, Gill and Steve, were very helpful and went the extra mile to ensure you were aware of all the site facilities. The pitch was roomy, private and great to have our own water tap - never had this before. The site was quiet and relaxing, just perfect for us. Everywhere was clean and the landscaping was gorgeous. We did not use the restaurant or spa due to the weather being so nice, but it looked great. Will try it when we return next time as that's 100% happening. Didn't want to leave this morning.

Fabulous stay

I was emailed the pitch number and entrance barrier code a couple of days before our arrival. What a lovely peaceful site. We had food and drinks in the bar, it was really nice, dog friendly too. Everyone on the site was friendly. Looking forward to returning.

Good

A lovely quiet park that was well kept. The only downside was the men's showers were cool and the disabled shower didn't drain very quickly and wet the floor. The warden however was very helpful.

Lovely, quiet site

Lovely, quiet, well maintained site. The shower block was lovely and clean. The only downside is there's nothing anywhere around and the site could benefit from a small onsite shop.

Good site

Efficient booking system. Easy to get to, yet feels away from it all. The largest shower cubicles I've ever seen, and nicely heated with good temperature water. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

First stay here in RV and will be back

First visit here, good sized fully serviced pitches, nicely spaced. Friendly staff. Views really nice and it's peaceful with only adults allowed. This site is so quiet with no trains flying by and as much as I love children, it is so peaceful. First class restaurant on entrance with rooms and a fabulous spa/health centre . Excellent booking in, not having to stop at reception. They email your pitch number and gate codes in advance. Great access to all areas in North Wales, we will definitely use this site again.

Overall a very nice campsite

Enjoyed our stay here but would be great to have an information pack on arrival (i.e. Wi-Fi details, passcode for barrier etc.) Also there were no temperature controls on the showers and it could be too high for some people and hard to get a proper wash.

A little gem of a site hidden away

Five star site to which I will definitely return. We arrived and were able to set up on the pitch straight away - it was nicely laid out with large level pitches. We then made our way to the restaurant/bar and was very impressed with the service and layout of this watering hole. Everybody we met were super friendly including owners of statics etc. Although the bar was open to locals and their families, once you enter the site, it is adults only so the children we saw in the club must have been with the local residents but they were extremely well behaved. We decided to use the restaurant for Sunday lunch but then decided to eat in the bar, It was the same menu but very dog friendly and again the standard of food was five star. Best fish and chips I've had for ages. You notice a star less on value, that is because we looked at using the swimming pool and spa facilities but it works out at approx. £20 for 2 hrs and £10 more at weekends. We felt it was a little steep but having been shown around the health club, it is probably set at the going rate and I will probably relent and try it out because the facilities were second to none and it looked very well organised and looked after.

The spa is separate also and they do sometimes have deals on, which we pass on to our customers when they have deals on. We look forward to you staying again .

Unexpected gem of a site

Excellent fully serviced motorhome and caravan pitches attached to a small hotel with spa and pool facilities, plus a great restaurant. Lovely food served by friendly, attentive, helpful staff. We will definitely be back soon.

A great short break

A lovely, peaceful and quiet site with modern and clean facilities. The closeness to the local restaurant/bar/spa was also a great bonus! There is however no local shop nearby, so be prepared. The views and local walks do make it worthwhile and definitely worth the visit.
