VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Apr 2025 Lovely, simple campsite site with very nice clean facilities. Was quite busy however that wasn't a problem at all. There was quite a lot of noise late at night 11:30-12pm, however, it didn't disturb our children, just made it harder to get to sleep.
Overall, we had a good stay for a 1 night stop over.

Great campsite
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Oct 2024 A great campsite, the setting was lovely and quiet, and the ground was kept well for ease of set up.
There is a shop on site and the shower/ toilet facilities were immaculate. Communication from the campsite was also great, as they called to confirm how damp it may be upon arrival due to the rain. Will definitely make a return next year!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2024 We spent an overnight pitch tent with friends and it was really great. Facilities are clean and they have a washing area for dishes which I was very thankful for.

Best campsite by far
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Sep 2024 The staff were brilliant, asked to stay longer due to completing the Ironman on Sunday and was fully expecting best case to pay for another day. Staff said it would no problem to just check out whenever I was finished. Couldn't have been better.
Also, the facilities were brilliant, everything you could need. Highly recommend, will definitely be back.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Sep 2024 Great place for a motorhome. All facilities easy to access and the best of all was the welcome from the owners. Great shop and even had a curry van turn up between 5-8, which is highly recommended.

A fabulous, family run site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Mar 2024 I really loved my time at Higher Moor Campsite.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the site was spotlessly kept and felt spacious. There are many great walks straight from the campsite and I will definitely be returning!
