Excellent, could be perfect with very minor tweaks
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Deluxe Meadows Pitches Oct 2026 Starting with location, personally Melton Mowbray wasn't for me, the centre is very underwhelming.
No fault whatsoever of the campsite, which is an altogether more premium experience: beautifully maintained, peaceful, landscaped, and just a nice place to be.
Overall I have almost nothing but positive to say about the site itself. The booking process, check in, check out, electric card, and onsite restaurant were all absolutely seamless experiences.
The only very minor things I would note, which could be very quickly rectified, would firstly be that once it's dark there is absolutely zero lighting from the meadow area of the campsite to the toilet block. This can be dangerous at night and is made worse by a large concrete planter on route. A few subtle ground lights would do nothing to detract from the peaceful environment in the pitches and would avoid people needing to use their phone or torch which would be more of a distraction to others in the middle of the night.
Secondly, despite the toilets being cleaned super regularly (which was very impressive and they were spotlessly clean), the toilet roll hadn't been replenished in one of the three cubicles one morning. I checked late afternoon and still the same unfortunately.
Lovely Site
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Standard Pitches Sep 2026 Excellent site very clean and new looking, the grounds were extremely well maintained. Toilet/shower block looked new and extremely clean and fresh, a hair dryer would have been handy in there for me. Staff very friendly and helpful. Local facilities garden centre with restaurant next door and also a Brocklebys Pie shop adjacent were all an added bonus. Bus stop close to the entrance.

Great location with regular bus service if needed.
Garden centre next door had a lovely restaurant, albeit a bit pricey.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Standard Pitches Aug 2026 Beautiful site with lots of space to park/camp with hedges separating each space. Super clean toilets and showers with a nice washing up area and good facilities to empty loos. The welcome was lovely with lots of information on the local vicinity. Also attached to a small pleasant garden centre with lovely restaurant. Would recommend

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Deluxe Meadows Pitches Jul 2026 The staff are very welcoming and really helpful.
We stayed at The Meadows which are larger pitches. We had a lot of room around the caravan both at the sides even when the awning was up, and at the front. The grass strip was wide and also had a picnic table which we made use of every evening. You have large trees behing you and bushes each side of your pitch for a bit if privace however they dont block the light at all.
The grounds were well maintained and had lots of plants as you would expect from a campsite at a garden centre. Usually this would be lush green but we arrived at the end of the heatwave and so the grass was a bit brown.
The facilities were great. There are 2 washing up stations outside the main facilities area however they are under cover on the porch. The ladies toilets and showers were always spotless and there were 3 of each so you didnt have to wait.
They are big on recycling which is good however the only negative for this site is that the trendy little dustbins were always full so they could do with more of them or bigger bins.
The site is clise to Melton Mowbray and you can get a bus if you dont want to drive, 40 mins from Nottinghan and Leicester and 20 mins from Loughborough.
Overall the site is great. Staff, facilities, pitch (The Meadows) and location are fantastic and we are definitly going to return.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Supersized Pitches Jul 2026 What a lovely site ,Lady in reception was so friendly and helpful .. Showers were great and spotlessly clean . Grounds and plantings were beautiful . Best ever for a quiet stay . Loved it .
Pork pie making experience
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Standard Pitches Jul 2026 As we had booked a pork pie experience, we decided to make a weekend of it by booking in at The Grange staying in our caravan.
The site was lovely, very clean, with excellent facilities. The washrooms were not only clean, always open but heated. The site is adults only, not even allowing children as visitors.
The site was well lit at night times. We had no complaints and will definitely stay again.
Outstanding Campsite
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Standard Pitches Jun 2026 This campsite offers great value - great service and the facilities are exceptional- it’s one of the best sites we have ever stayed on - the shop has plenty of choice - there’s a garden centre at top of carpark - it’s only a 2 mile easy walk into Melton Mowbray town centre - there are good walks in the surrounding fields for dogs - the campsite is well maintained - the site Managers and staff were very friendly - we will definately be returning for a longer stay - well worth a visit.
Lovely spacious pitches
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Standard Pitches Jun 2026 Nice to feel private on your pitch. Each pich has a small barrier of conifers and are spaced around a large central grassed area. We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival. The toilet facilities are very clean.
Although the electric is separate we only paid £6.80 for the 3 days.
We will definitely stay again.
A great site
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Standard Pitches Jun 2026 We had a lovely relaxing weekend at a great site - the only slight negative is that it would have been helpful to know the Elsan point is only for eco-friendly / green chemical toilet fluid.

Very clean, tidy and the radio in the showers was a nice touch. Friendly staff. Great pork pie shop on site, fully recommend.

Superb campsite!
Dec 2023 This place was recommended by a friend and it definitely didn't disappoint!
The grounds are so well maintained with nice features i.e. natural little pond and ground lights. The facilities are modern and spotless. Everything you need is there. It's an ideal place to enjoy peace and quiet!
Julie, who welcomed us, was very friendly and very professional. She made sure that all the information we needed was given. The site is very dog friendly with some nice local walks.
The location of the site is ideal, next to a lovely garden centre, a pork pie shop and a superb restaurant. We were lucky to stay just before Christmas to enjoy the Christmas decorations!
We walked to Melton Mowbray, less than 2 miles away. Nice town with a beautiful church and nice shops. A visit to the Ye Olde Pork Pie shop is a must!
We will definitely go back and recommend The Grange!
