Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesMay 2025

First time driving towing a caravan, arrived at site back of 7 at night didn't realise the restaurant shut at 8pm, so ended up going out again to find food. Locals from nearby town phoned for a Indian for us and got it delivered to his local pub. Got back to caravan at back of 10pm at night, but other than that the staff and other holiday makers were really friendly.

Site's response

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're glad to hear that despite the late arrival and dinner hiccup, you found the staff and fellow holidaymakers friendly and welcoming — that's exactly the kind of atmosphere we aim for. We're sorry the restaurant closing time caught you off guard. We'll look into how we can make that information clearer for future guests, especially those arriving later in the evening. It's great to hear the local community came through with a tasty solution! We hope to welcome you back again soon.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesMay 2025

Our first time staying on this site with the motorhome. It was perfect. It had everything we needed. We went up to the clubhouse on the Saturday night for a meal. It was fantastic, hats off to the new chef. The food was amazing and also presentation was lovely too. Didn't get the girls name in the restaurant, but she said that she makes the homemade tablet & cakes 😋 So delicious, her tablet was to die for. The facilities on such a small site were great. Relaxing time spent with family and friends. Definitely be back here. Well done to the amazing staff keep up the amazing work. Thank you the Channing's from Glasgow xx

Site's response

It's great to know you enjoyed your meal at the clubhouse — we'll be sure to pass on your kind words to our new chef and the team. And we'll let our talented baker Eva know how much you loved the tablet and cakes — she'll be thrilled to hear it made such an impression! We're so pleased the facilities, atmosphere, and staff all helped make your stay relaxing and memorable. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon for more great food and good times. Thank you

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring PitchesMay 2025

Well, we only went for 3 nights to try it and it's a very clean site. The toilets and showers were spotless the only 1 thing was the top shower block showers were not adjustable and very hot. The other showers were so all good and the food at the bistro on site were lovely and very reasonable. Good portions, highly recommend. All the staff were brilliant 👏 Will be back soon - if you want a lovely caravan site then you won't be disappointed with this one. 5 plus stars.
